I don't understand the praise this game gets because in my opinion this game is not fun at all, I understand that Shredders is meant to be a realistic sim style game but as soon as you do a trick or two and a grind you've basically seen everything the game has to offer.
Was searching for a Game like Shawn Palmer Snowboarding... thats not it. Its like Skate with a Snowboard. Thats fun for some people but without the hall of Meat Features. Its not for me but i guess a lot of people have fun with it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Shredders, developed and published by FoamPunch, is a snowboarding game that blends realism with a sense of freedom, offering players an immersive experience that emphasizes both technical skill and creative expression. Released in 2022, the game seeks to revive the snowboarding genre by combining open-world exploration with a physics-driven trick system. It draws inspiration from classic titles in extreme sports, providing a modern take that appeals to both veterans of the genre and newcomers seeking a more grounded yet exhilarating snowboarding experience. The core gameplay of Shredders revolves around fluid, responsive controls that allow players to chain tricks, navigate slopes, and interact dynamically with the environment. The trick system is intuitive yet deep, rewarding precise timing and skillful execution while still allowing for improvisation and freestyle expression. Beyond performing stunts, players can explore sprawling mountain terrains that feature varied landscapes, including groomed runs, backcountry areas, and urban-style environments. The game’s dynamic weather and day-night cycles further enhance immersion, influencing snow conditions and visibility, and adding an extra layer of challenge to the gameplay. Visually, Shredders excels in capturing the essence of snowboarding culture. The environments are highly detailed, with realistic snow physics that affect how boards glide, turn, and respond to player input. Character models and gear are meticulously designed, reflecting contemporary snowboard styles and trends. The animation system contributes significantly to the sense of realism, making jumps, spins, and landings feel authentic. This attention to detail creates a compelling visual experience that conveys both the thrill and the artistry of snowboarding. Shredders also incorporates a narrative dimension, following a young snowboarder navigating the competitive and often challenging world of snowboarding. Players encounter mentors, rivals, and sponsors as they progress, with dialogue and interactions providing context and motivation for the journey. While the story itself is relatively straightforward, it adds depth and a sense of progression to the game, encouraging players to continue exploring and mastering the slopes. The integration of story elements with gameplay helps to create a more cohesive and engaging experience. Despite its strengths, Shredders is not without its challenges. Some players have reported occasional technical issues, such as performance drops or minor bugs that can disrupt the flow of gameplay. However, these issues are often outweighed by the overall quality of the experience, particularly as FoamPunch continues to support the game with updates and patches. The developers’ commitment to refining mechanics and expanding content demonstrates a clear passion for the project, ensuring that the game continues to evolve and improve over time. Overall, Shredders offers a compelling blend of realism, freedom, and expressive gameplay, making it a standout entry in the snowboarding genre. Its combination of detailed environments, responsive controls, and varied terrains creates an immersive and satisfying experience for players who enjoy both technical mastery and creative exploration. While not perfect, the game’s strengths—its visuals, physics, and attention to snowboarding culture—make it a rewarding experience, particularly for fans seeking a fresh take on extreme sports simulations. Rating: 9/10
best snowboarding game
Great game and mechanics. No other snowboard game has this quality of control over your character and board. Only thing lacking is content. Definitely needs and update with all new terrain to ride.
recognizes the scene and the community!!
Probably the best and most realistic snowboarding game out there very fun
