Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate

Me fez descobrir que eu sou muito melhor no xadrez quando posso matar meu oponente em vez de pensar 30 jogadas na frente. Ainda tenho problemas com o bispo que surge do nada, mas no fim das contas a melhor estratégia continua sendo atirar primeiro e perguntar depois.

체스라는 논리적 사고와 계산이 필요한 게임과 샷건이라는 논리따윈 개나준것같은 사나이같은 조합이 되게 신선하다. 적들이 체스의 전술에 알맞게 압박해오는것도 재미있다. 룩과 비숍은 킹의 행동범위를 좁혀오고 나이트는 저돌적으로 체크를 시도한다. 이러다보니 게임하면서 패배하면 억까라고 느끼기보다는 계산미스라는 생각이 들어서 크게 스트레스 받는 요소가 안된다고 생각한다. 이 게임은 전술적인 선택지가 다양하고 그에 따라 온갖 플레이가 가능해져서 로그라이크의 특성을 잘 이해한 듯한 짜임새를 갖췄다. 제일 좋은 점은 빌드를 짜는 건 있으나 날먹일정도로 사기칠수는 없어서, 결국 플레이어의 조작이 승리에 큰 역할을 기여한다는게 괜찮은 점이다. 게임도 한판에 10분~15분 내외로 짧게 즐길 수 있어서 가장 게임불감증 치료에 나름 좋은것 같다

This game takes the base rules of chess, adds some new, ever-changing strategies thanks to the card system, and gives the black king a shotgun. It's a difficult game, but very rewarding when you figure it out. One note: it is advisable to turn off any screen flashing in the options before you get started.

This is a really enjoyable game. A lot of variety in power ups. It's challenging, it doesn't take itself too seriously, just fun. There are also options to change the appearance of the game. If the retro CRT look makes your eyes hurt you can get rid of it. If you like it, you can supercharge it. The only CON I can think of: If you expect more than a fun little game you'll be disappointed. If you accept it for what it is, a humorous little roguelike about a chess king gone mad wielding a shotgun, you'll have fun (if you like that kind of stuff).
