Shieldwall is a funny third-person tactical battle simulator with strategy elements. It allows you to feel like a squad leader right on the battlefield.

The game is really fun looking, along with a nice campaign, it has got lots of historical remarks. Especially for the Roman Empire side...Other then that, the music is nice but there is a constant loop of the same music. Besides that the taunt mechanic and the way units fight is hilarious. Sadly...The game its factions do not feel very unique, if you put their looks or voice acting aside. Campaign its difficulty well...Don't let me get started, from the begin ''normal'' is doable, but later? Oh no! And by all means you'll swear your lungs out at the developers for making it such a frustrating experience you gone trough within their game...Instead of fun, or at least a way to counter the enemy its challenging difficulty. If you are cold blooded, or want to enjoy a barely active multiplayer game, then this is your go! Or if you simply enjoy RTS and want to try this game. (But please buy the game on a sale, cause other wise the game is not worth it.) Score from a scale 1 to 10 would be a 7

Character does this stupid leap attack randomly into packs of enemies and instakills himself... The dudes following you block you a tonne, they dont get out of your way enough. Missions are stupidly unfair, up to a stage now with 2 enemy packs on the same team, so there is a 2nd group of enemies just constantly ninja'ing your points. Just not fun going around in circles like that. Great concept, has a lot of fun moments, but needs a lot of tuning to be enjoyable. Some of the maps have enemy spawn points where they can drop down onto your flags, but you have to run around half the map to get to theirs. Normal is hard mode, and easy is just too easy with ♥♥♥♥ tones of gold. Lots to be tuned... Just looked at the achievements, only 8% are getting up to the final mission, so I think a lot are like me and give up after a while cause it gets less fun and unecessarily painful in later levels.
Extremely simple, Super FUN with friends. Although you might lose some of them after this. Hope the Devs will add more game modes and an 8 player mode would be awesome!!!!
Great game, way more difficult than I thought it was going to be. Definitely some frustrating levels that made me quit more times than I would have liked but overall great experience!
Just a walking simulator with extra steps. Game is severely unbalanced with such a low power cap that you never snowball to be more powerful than enemies. Even when you beat 2/3 enemy teams on a map and own 9/10 total bases with maximum income you'll be stuck in a stalemate trying to capture a base til the 30 minute timer ends. Boring. Power growth doesn't exist, it's just baiting armies to go out of their base then walking over at the right time. Feels like a tech demo with some bolted on menus to look like something more than it is. I wouldnt sped $5 on its current state knowing how shallow it is now
My rating: Price = Worth about $10 Current state = Decent Entertainment value = Casual fun Replay-ability = Decent Roadmap = Nonexistent, as far as I'm aware Developers = Quiet Sillyness = A bit silly System requirements = A potato might struggle a little, but it will still work well Recommendation = Play multiplayer for the best time, or normal campaign for a fair challenge. Snag the game on a sale. You will like this if; You enjoyed games like "Undead Knights" or "Conqueror's Blade". Now, for the people "in the know" for this game genre... You will probably have the same thought I'm about to say if you play this game. This game gives me hope that a real competitor to 'Conqueror's Blade' will show up and bankrupt the scummy company that runs it. Not sure why there isn't an indie studio who has figured this out. This genre might not be the biggest hit, but its got a stable community. Maybe one day...
Interesting little game, developers cashed in and dipped but at least left it in a playable state I suppose. Annoying feature that you can spawn troops on a flag if you control it, the enemy can also do this so you'll find yourself winning a fight up until a million enemy soldiers come out of nowhere because they control the flag you're fighting over and then you're dead. Pretty ♥♥♥♥ feature there. idk, i cant recommend it technically because there's not a lot of content here, and it's not abnormally good... And quite repetitive.
Игра норм, но хотелось бы чтобы часть войск можно было оставлять где-то на карте а с другой идти в атаку а не оставлять все войско
