Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 17 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I experienced a few crashes in the first two cases, but even then I was eager to push through them and get back on the case because of how deeply this game had it's hooks in me. Atmosphere and intrigue are well balanced along with the game mechanics that actually made me feel as if I was doing the deductive reasoning based investigation of the titular Mr Holmes. I really enjoyed how game provided good reference material for your clues while not being too hand-holdy and even allowing you to make the incorrect conclusion (honestly made getting to correct suspect even more satisfying.) Puzzles were fun and didn't overstay each welcome- I actually appreciate the opportunity to skip for the story while rewarding the player with an achievement if you stick with it. Even in 2025 the quick time events and moral choice system that were more of the times of the 2010s kind of had a think-on-you-feet feeling combined with enabling your own take on the famous detective. If you don't mind restarting the game a few times after a crash, it's a satisfying detective game to chew through. And thankfully it saves your progress frequently.

They let you know when you have collected all clues, very helpful and you don't need to waste time searching every corner. There is degree of choice you can make, you are not blindly following the clues.
I heard good things about this game, but I don't think it's for me. For the first major deduction, you observe some clues, but then rather than some information that you can then connect the dots on, the casebook just has written a Sherlock-level deduction, and then your job as the player is to repeat what was written in the casebook during the dialog. So you don't actually work out the puzzle, the game does it for you. It's not quite what I was expecting.
