Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ele NUNCA ACEITARIA DEIXAR UM SER DESPREZÍVEL FUGIR DO PAÍS EM TROCA DE QUALQUER MERDA QUE FOR!

I tried to force myself to like this game, but I couldn't, even as a Sherlock Holmes fan. The game is poorly optimized, the story is not that intriguing, there are too many quests going on at the same time and also that fact that this is an open world game makes it even worse.
I started this game thinking I would not like it because, as a Sherlock Holmes fan, the concept of a game revolving around the famous detective where his doctor partner was missing and instead replaced with an "imaginary friend" would feel too feeble for me to be invested in. However, I am very glad to have been proven wrong. Sure, the game might be missing some polishing, and some mechanics (such as the fighting one) might be a little wonky, but I would still recommend this game with every fiber of my being, be it now or in twenty years. I have come to love Sherlock, Jon and even Mycroft, whose characterization I am particularly fond of and obsessed with for the amount of screentime he gets. I love open world games and especially those with a lot of side quests which tell the player about the character they play as, so this was absolutely beautiful to play through, start to finish. Every little quest around the island of Cordona that ended up revealing some little detail or memory about Sherlock's childhood felt like digging up a memory of your own; a treasure to handle carefully due to how feeble it is. This game also does a good job at establishing and summarizing the relationship between the two Holmes brothers, despite how little the older one shows up. He is an overarching character in Sherlock's life and this is probably one of the best Sherlock Holmes adaptations where Mycroft and him deliberately do not get along or even like each other. I am all for the doomed siblings dynamic, and CH1 manages to express it while also making it clear that Mycroft is still overprotective of his little brother and has made big sacrifices for him and his mental health, even if on his own, messed up ways. While it is true that some of the cases in-between Ghosts of the Past and Sacrificial Lamb were a little weaker story-wise, the amount of things you can do while attempting to complete those main tasks is such that I never felt like complaining. Everything you do or how you do it also affects Jon and he narrates his feelings towards Sherlock's actions in his very own diary, which is always a good moral compass and also says a lot about his character and how it parallels Sherlock, given that he is his most emotional and attached side, whereas Sherlock himself is more disconnected and feels more absent when it comes to harsh topics, obviously due to trauma. Jon’s diary mechanic also gives the player the feeling that they can shape Sherlock to be someone (especially someone different than the rest of his family), which I believe to be rather original and it also puts pressure on the player. It is also important to take into account how this studio and game weren't afraid to portray strong topics such as sexual assault and domestic violence, writing them in ways that make their characters feel much more human, despite how they seem to fly over the average player's head sometimes... I believe this to be one of the best modern takes on Sherlock Holmes and definitely one of the best over all when it comes to making him feel like a real person that could have very well existed at one point in time, making him fall victim to naivety and and some of the other strong topics mentioned above that were, unfortunately, very common in Victorian times and that many other adaptations have been too afraid to add or make their main character go through. It is refreshing to see a lot of representation as a whole well-written in a game ambiented in a time where none of it would have been taken seriously or even considered for a recreation, for most people would not have even included it in the first place. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One gives you a very clear disclaimer indicating that they are aware that this time period was unfair and extremely disrespectful towards certain collectives or minorities, and they absolutely mean what they say. I am very grateful to have been given a chance to get into this game and the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes franchise altogether, and this one is definitely going to haunt me (positively) for the rest of my days. I genuinely wish I could play it again for the first time but alas, I shall have to wait until they make another game in this franchise to see my favourite detective and his not-so-bad brother !
I think this game is incredibly underrated or just a hidden gem! I had so much fun with it! They title had me thinking it would be much shorter then it was because games that usually have Chapter __ in the name usually feel like they would only be a couple hours long but this game was a delight! The prologue was through and any new mechanics were explained well. 20ish hours of solid game play and fun mysteries and some basic combat which was fun. This is my favorite iteration i have seen of Sherlock and Jon so far, Sherlock is young, socially awkward and crass but still caring and Jon is witty, fun and mischievous. I am so excited to play the next game! This one definitely made it into my top 10

Complete the game 100% Honest review I wouldn't buy this if not for big discount. This game has a lot of potential if only they did not rush this. I wish there is a case that you can explore a cave, lighthouse, shipwrecks or whatnot. Pros -Unli stamina/ Unli run -Chemical experiments is not connected in any achievements -No annoying achievements (fastrun, collectibles, difficulty related) -Fighting scenes is unique -Scenematic scenes are skippable Cons -Sherlock is now sherry (gay nickname) -Sherlock have imaginary friend (Jon) -Sherlock cannot swim -Game is too short
It has a truly impressive atmosphere; it would be a fantastic experience for those who enjoy this type of game. I liked it and I recommend it.
