About
shapez is a low-stakes factory building game all about the automation of shapes production. Extract basic shapes with miners, cut them into segments and combine them into brand-new, unique shapes. Stack multiple layers of different shapes on top of each other & deliver them to the HUB to advance!
As you progress, new buildings are unlocked and the required shapes become more complex. Extract paint and use them to color your shapes. Spread out across the infinite sandbox to acquire different shapes and increase your production.
Leverage copy-paste tools to massively expand your factory as demand increases and shapes get more complex. Mix paint to create new colors, stack many layers of shapes and increase throughput as necessary. After all, it’s not an idle game!
Get creative with optional wiring & logic to optimize your factory to your liking and maybe even make a powerful machine that can make every shape possible.
With no enemies, timers or resource limits to worry about, shapez is a game that allows you to take on factory building at your own pace while progressively tackling more complex levels, if you’re looking for a challenge.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A relaxing automation game with no enemies or combat. Mine shapes, cut, rotate and color them to build complex production lines. Easy to learn at first, yet quite deep with logic circuits later. Blueprints and sandbox mode greatly extend playtime. The downside is relatively repetitive gameplay and lack of story. Highly recommended if you enjoy designing smooth factory layouts.
It's like factorio with none of the stress, and none of the things that make it interesting.
Game is tedious because developers couldn’t come up with proper progression. First 5 level made me close to quitting but I pushed thru. I shouldn't have. Game requires you to beat Level 25 to unlock all features, I don’t have emotional strength to beat lvl 13. The need to constantly go across the whole base to copy and then past the thing I already designed just kills me. Copy-paste feature also requires currency to be farmed like why??? Game becomes more tedious with each next level. You just have to do the thing you already done but more + another thing.

i genuinely wish i could enjoy this ♥♥♥♥. i can't help but feel like, at least in the start, there's just... not much reward. i only got through the first few levels before i started asking myself "what was the point of my previous steps AT ALL?". if this game somehow tries to answer that later it clearly failed at making it feel worth the effort from the start. it felt completely pointless to scale up the factory beyond just getting to the next shape, and in that case what's the point of trying to optimize production? getting tiers slightly faster and more "number go up"? there's no feeling of reward at all. compared to something like Mindustry or Factorio, this doesn't hit any similar sort of clear progression. if you had to actually use your resources instead of just "collect them lol", sure i could get behind that, but it's completely absent. maybe i'll return to this later to see if i'm really missing anything but yeah, i'm quite disappointed. at least from what it looks like, shapez 2 does a better job, so i might give that a shot instead when i have the chance.
Quiero automatiza todo en mi vida. 10/10
