Guns of Fury

Pensé que me iba a aburrir porque se veía masomenos (el pixel art es hermoso pero ni ahí está a la altura de los Metal Slug clásicos) pero la verdad que me cerró el orto... Es muy fluido, muy rápido y adictivo. Tiene esa cosa de Symphony of the Night que llegado un punto te obliga a explorar por tu cuenta sin decirte a donde ir, usando todas tus habilidades si querés conseguir todos los objetos y el mejor final. La verdad que me encantó, me esperaba otro metroidvania más y cuando me di cuenta no lo podía soltar!

If Metal Slug was a metroidvania with a story that was reminiscent of the original Bionic Commando for the NES, and you gave it a fresh coat of paint and some QoL features, it'd be this game.

Esse jogo é uma bela mistura de Run and gun e Metroidvania. O jogo tem um mapa grande com bastante coisa para se explorar. Tem uma excelente navegação pelo mapa. É muito tranquilo de chegar em objetivos, mas sem perder a magia da exploração característica do gênero Metroidvania. O protagonista tem diversas habilidades e várias armas diferentes. A pixel arte do game é muito bonita e vale a pena dar um destaque para os filtros que vem no jogo. Eu sempre gostei muito da mescla de pixels adjacentes das TVs de tubo, ele já com vem 3 opções de filtro CRT que deixam a imagem bem próxima do que seria em uma TV de tubo. Depois de concluir o game também ganhei um filtro de GB. O combate do game é muito divertido tendo bastante ação e a diversidade de inimigos é boa também. Excelente jogo! Recomendo muito ele, especialmente pela diversão que o jogo entrega na sua gameplay.

Metroidvania con la estética de Metal Slug muy divertido y satisfactorio. Se controla de lujo y las habilidades son bien majas. Y el arsenal disponible es casi ilimitado. Una joyita.

A fun Metal Slug meets metroidvania game. Great retro graphics and music. My only major complaint is having to go into the pause menu to change gear, really could have used a weapon wheel or some other method of quickly changing gear.

Absolutely loved this game. A Metroidvania in the style of Contra and Metal Slug. It wasn't too difficult on normal, and I beat most bosses after a few attempts. For the price of a coffee / beer I got 15 hours of fun. Great game.

Overall an enjoyable Metroidvania. I got it because people were comparing it to Metal Slug and Symphony of the Night. Though it does fall short of both, it is close enough that i still feel like i pretty much got what i was looking for. Not a long game, but if you are looking for a fun Metroidvania this is a good one to try.

It's.... fine. Sort of. The upgrades are really lacking, you get the same movement stuff as every other metroidvania ever, there are hardly any HP capacity upgrades and they require very little exploration to find, and the shops seel almost nothing useful. It isn't terrible, but there are much better options available.

Very enjoyable blend of blasting and stage-scouring. A large map with a lot of secrets to discover. Recommended!

It checked all the right boxes for me in what it advertises to be, I had a good time with GUNS OF FURY.
