Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've been playing this here and there for several weeks now. This is the type of game that "feels" like it would be so lovely, and I was baited, but it actually ends up not doing what you expect it to do. Unfortunately, this is just a $20 game with a bunch of sloppy code, no QA testing, and frustrating U.I. choices. It had so much potential and fumbled it all. If I could, I would choose to refund this game now after playing it enough. The primary mechanic of this game is that you make a request and it stays listed in public for 24 hours. People can choose to reply to it and you'll receive a response when you log back in another time. All of this is anonymous through -A, -j, -Q, -x first syllable names that you set in game. The request you send out into the world has a small character limit, but responses can go much longer. I have posted several requests out into the world but that system simply just does not work. The requests I posted from several days to weeks ago were all being posted at once to some people? I found this out from them replying saying: "You are spamming, this is spam, another spam request" to each unique request I made. I also cleared out some of my inbox (Because I think there's an inbox limit???) and I randomly started receiving responses from the requests I made from long ago? When you do get "advice" from others, usually the best case scenario is somebody sharing a similar experience, or worse saying things that sound "good" but will end up being harmful. This game serves as a "pseudo therapy" service based off of pure community support. It's extremely worrying to see people post about death, somebodies death, or a potentially upcoming death. That takes a trained professional, and being told: "Good job Kylie! You're doing amazing sweetie!" is a bandage over a bullet hole for problems that serious. Where it does work is if you focus on exclusively the request system, and you don't have serious issues that require a trained professional, then yeah being told that you're doing amazing or hearing a shared experience can feel lovely. If you're having a hard time at work, some people do just want to hear that other people are having a hard time at work. Finally, if you do try to interact with several mechanics outside of the request system, you'll find that some of it is just flat out broken and doesn't work. I've seen an ENTIRE system quite literally just not even work. They have the UI and system in place, but there's no "mechanic" behind it. Once again, this is a $20 that has broken, buggy, and sloppy features across most of it. I would suggest going for the Kind Words 1 for $5 since both games requests are connected.

/!\ THIS GAME DOES NOT REPLACE THERAPY. Saw some ppl complain that they didn't receive the best magical advices and I was flabbergasted because yeah? The players are just people, sharing a point of view with no professional knowledge behind. Go see someone qualified if you need help with serious stuff... This game is more for sharing and receiving a pat in the back or food for thoughts, bathing in positive vibes and receiving short recommendations. I was reluctant at first because you can easily tell yourself that it will feel fake and won't have any real positive impact. By that, I mean that if you go to buy this game, chances are you don't feel too good about something and you are looking for some kind of support. And yeah, actually it does help IF you are in a place where you're able to receive that help. Some of the overly positive stuff didn't resonate with me at all but writing to others and receiving thoughtful replies actually did. It suprised me with how you can feel the different ppl there is on that game through their replies and so far I haven't come across any trolls. I ended up LOVING giving advices, sharing recommendations and participating in the chains of thought in the forest. The stickers you collect as a "thank you" are a very nice touch, I just wish we knew which response earned each one. When you spend some time writting to someone and you never see it again, wondering if what you said was alright, it is a bit frustrating. Still, I am glad I could help some people in here and I am grateful for those who answered my questions and gave me recommendations. I also really enjoy all the reflections this game inspires because of how many different situations are shared. All of that said, 19.50 euros is a bit much for the content there is, some stuff feels repetitive/useless to me. But I get how it can interest someone else. At last, I don't regret buying this, I hope there will be new updates to add some more activities, the cat one is quite creative and lovely!
Nobody ever deserves to live their entire life without experiencing random kindness from another.
ITS SO CATHARTIC. Please, if you need therapy, this is NOT a REPLACEMENT. This will restore your faith in humanity. Seriously, I cried.
I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so given the nature of Kind Words 2. It challenges the definition of what a game is, and in this case, it's a wonderful departure from everything else out there. It seems that this game was created purely as a way to establish human connections, allowing players to request and receive kind words from others. There's no real gamification per se... no reason to be artificial or rush through anything. Just a number of mechanisms for players to ask for advice (often because they've fallen on hard times) and for players to respond to said requests out of the goodness of their hearts. And it's beautiful. Interactions are completely anonymous, and I have yet to experience anything other than positivity from the community. I've fallen on hard times recently, and reached out just looking for opinions and reassurance. To my surprise, I was flooded with responses, and I can honestly say that it helped to just know that there were other humans who understood my situation. And it was equally satisfying to scroll through the requests out there and do my best to help others as well, with nothing to gain other than the sense of helping someone out. The only critique I had early one was that I wished I could reply to someone's response with something other than a sticker. There were a few instances where I wanted clarification on what someone meant or how I might go about doing what they suggested... but at the same time, that would risk breaking anonymity, opening up the opportunity for disagreements, and change the overall vibe. After a few hours, I concluded that I support the developer's decision to make conversations one-and-done, as it preserves the purity of the idea. In short, if you enjoy being a good human and want to support others, I can't recommend this game enough.
In 2005, before I learned to be disgusted with startup and corporate culture in Silicon Valley, this kind of thing is what I thought social software might be like in the future. So maybe I'm calling it a fresh take on social media. Basically social scripts over the internet. Good to see. Maybe I'll do one too.
I love the Kind Words games! If you played the first one and want to pick up the second game, all your decor and request history can be transferred. If you haven't played the first one, just get this one, it's literally the same game but upgraded with many new features, rooms, customizations, and different ways to interact with random people and share messages. It started as just a little room where you could read people's requests and send them a letter in response. You could give advice, emotional support, or just let them know they weren't alone. You also had the option to send your own requests and hopefully get some nice letters from kind strangers! Now there are many new features on top of this. Everything is done anonymously. Your signature is just a letter, and if you're using the request system, there's no back and forth, just a request and a response. Once someone gets a response, they can send a sticker to say 'thank you', but that's it. It's heartwarming to see so many people take the time to be kind to strangers! It's also worth noting that the game doesn't have achievements, so you won't find people sending random letters to get achievements or something like that. The devs take really good care of people and the community is lovely!
A very necessary game.
Go-to when I'm feeling down. I love responding to other people's requests or just hopping on to vent. There are so many interactive options in this version that make it really enjoyable/effective.
