Awesome Tower Defense game. I have over 100 TD games, and this one is at the top of the heap! Simple graphics, but outstanding game play.
A really top notch Tower Defense game, an easy two thumbs up. The core mechanisms include pathing, always a plus, and deck building. There is a decent variety or tower types, and enemies, including true fliers who go straight to your base and require careful tower placement. The game lacks fluff, which I usually consider a negative, but the game is rich enough that it is fine without it. There are even tactical options, though there is only room for three at any one time, and they are one use only. ADDENDUM: On further play, I am reducing my opinion from two thumbs to one. it is still fun, but it gets repetitive fast. The maps are often cramped, limiting pathing options A LOT, and so far the levels are very short, reducing the interest in deck building, as you start from scratch pretty frequently. Still fun, still has that 'one more level' vibe, but not the greatness I had thought it was originally. It certainly has potential however, and I hope for a richer, fuller sequel. ADDENDUM: 18.5 hours from start to finish for me.
i give it a 6/10 compared to other roguelike games that i have played. solid framework with potential to be an amazing game. overall the game still feel very much early access in terms of content (understandably, as it still is in early access). there is not much selection in terms of cards (towers, upgrades etc) and alot of the different towers feel pretty much the same with just one stat slightly changed. question mark spaces have like 5 different outcomes if you pick them, just making them less exciting to pick, the outcomes do have the potential to be game changing which is nice, i would just like to see more variety to keep me more engaged. i dont like how when you upgrade a tower's damage it only tells you the base damage + a percentage (not that hard to calculate myself but a slight annoyance). i havent played all too much but in my opinion, the game definitely needs a few more content updates for it to become a game i can really sink tons of hours into. overall it seems like a game headed in the right direction as long as the dev keeps working on it.
The concept has a lot of potential, but this game itself doesn't follow through. The game, as it stands, is unbalanced and the amount of content that'll keep you entertained ends around the 60 minute mark. Again, love the concept, but would love to see an increase in price + much (MUCH!) more content fleshed out.
a pretty basic td game but it does those basics well
It's a really good game with big potential, but it needs some refining. It's really showing that it wants to be "slay the spire but TD", and it's alright, but some parts don't translate wery well, mainly the item/potion mechanic. In my opinion, it's needs big rework or its unnecessary. Also games feel too short for me, extending the map and/or increasing the number of waves would be a pleasing addition. The game is now a little poor in content, but it's not a concern when keeping in mind it came out recently. Overall, 7/10 with potencial to become 9, or even 10/10
looking forward to future updates, already liking what im seeing.
Good enough to consume two weeks of my life. Buy at your own risk :-)
Very nice towerdefence game introduces nice new stuff and creative ideas to build your deck.
Balatro meets tower defense! Still learning all the various tower types, so but so far I can see a lot of potential in this game. The UI is intuitive and the mazing is done really well. Very fun :)
