un avventura grafica classica e molto piacevole! un ottimo primo capitolo che fa venir voglia di continuare la saga. Il protagonista è molto interessante ed i dialoghi sono spesso esilaranti, senza però perdere la serietà della situazione. A differenza di alcune avventure grafiche qui la storia cerca di prendersi sul serio dall'inizio alla fine, niente assurdità ridicole e niente distrazioni poco plausibili. è uno di quei giochi dove si potrebbe dire "dovrebbero farci un film" ma farlo non avrebbe senso perchè sarebbe esattamente uguale al gioco, nulla è da buttare e tutto è importante. Alcuni puzzle possono sembrare tediosi ma premiano il giocatore, disegni eccellenti e doppiaggio italiano di livello. Contento di averlo scoperto anche se così tardi, lo consiglio agli amanti del genere!

Nel fu Gamestop della mia città mi capito sotto gli occhi una copertina che prometteva intrighi, violenza e una Roma sulla sfondo a fare da palcoscenico. Non ricordo perché non comprai in quell'occasione Shadows on the Vatican Atto I: Avarizia. Però complice anche i saldi e una sana voglia di punta e clicca, ho fatto ammenda. Ci troviamo di fronte ad un punta e clicca con una storia intrigante scandita da complotti, corruzione, vendetta, rapimenti e le ombre sul vaticano giungo subito a imporsi! Bella anche la grafica in stile cartoon, Broken Sword deve aver insegnato molto bene, ben ricostruite le varie locazioni a Roma, peccato che come episodio finisce molto velocemente, quasi fosse un semplice prologo. Andiamo con il prossimo!

Quería darle un recomendado pero después de valorarlo y de acordarme que también le di un NO a Blackwell Legacy, me veo obligado a explicar qué problemas tiene el juego: quizá no sea insufrible ni horrible ni nada por el estilo, pero es un pelín aburrido, sobre todo por una trama pretenciosa y ciertos puzles excesivamente simples... Y el final abiertísimo, que no deja lugar a dudas que es simplemente un capítulo de una historia mayor. Pero de esto que se queda tan como si no hubiera pasado nada todavía, que realmente no sientes que hayas jugado a un juego sino a una demo. Osea, que si haces como yo y compras un pack con varios juegos pues ni tan mal, pero comprarlo solo ni pensarse. Visualmente me molesta porque los dibujos cómic son muy bonitos, me encanta el estilo cartoon realista, pero los modelos 3D son muy baratos y tiene bastantes fallos gráficos como personajes que se quedan en pose T. Y finalmente, creo que es un proyecto humilde con demasiado poco presupuesto (basta con ver la traducción española), pero que no puede justificar que se sienta un amalgama de aventuras gráficas mucho mejores: Broken Sword, Blackwell Legacy, The Longest Journey son solo algunos títulos que me vienen a la mente. Lo dicho, a mí no me ha gustado y ojalá lo pudiera haber disfrutado, vosotros mismos. Por cierto, no puedo olvidar el puzle del coche, un minijuego ridículo que lo siento pero lo que hizo fue matarme de risa.

First, yes I know I'm not recommending this game. And that's really because this game is incomplete. This is only Act I of what is suppsed to be a IV part game and as of posting this review only 2 of those parts are out (part II came out in 2015... so who knows if we'll be getting more). Episodic games can be fun but only when you know you'll eventually get the full thing and charing $7.79 (CAD) for what's at most 3 hours of game play when the game isn't finished is kinda lame. The story itself seems fine... but it's so early it's hard to tell if it's worth it. The graphics are a bit janky and my game lagged quite a bit. The voice acting is very hit or miss. There really wasn't anything that kept me invested (and tbh I'll probably only replay so I can get 100% completion on this). If you really like point and click games and need to play every single one you might enjoy this. Otherwise, maybe wait till it's on sale or until the other episodes are out. Also James' design annoyed me so much. Why did he have a HUNK of hair in his face sometimes and then just a little bit other times? It was kind of distracting. I did think some of the acheivement names were funny so yay for that.
