Fairly basic remaster, but recommended for fans of the game/genre.

Love to have been able to play as a Mexican protag i love the collaboration of the game i could definitely see the influences from both Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami and what beautiful merge it was im glad to gave stumbled on this gem when i seen the trailer when the game was about to come out it took me so long to play due to graphic issues but instead of trying to rely on the game to update more graphic settings i had my graphics card push the games frame rate by overriding the game settings with my GPU's

One of the most underrated games of all time. The writing, the gameplay, the price, and the whole package is great game. Is it perfect? No. But I promise you that if you play it, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Guns. Goon. Gore. & Garcia ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hotspur. Take a ride down the highway to hell with your Johnson on a quest to get your Paula back from satan himself. Edgy and vulgar 2010's humour. Turn off your brain and enjoy the show. I rate this game a 7,2/10

For better or for worse, this game is one of a kind. As most people are already aware, this game was bogged down by terrible decisions from EA and a smothered creative vision by 2 absolute geniuses in the field. It makes complete sense why this would leave Suda completely bitter towards the people in charge. But it at least gave birth the echoes of the grander vision, which we'd see in Travis Strikes Again and No More Heroes 3. Makes me wonder why Suda wanted to go back to this for a remaster considering the unpleasant memories this game must hold. As for the final game itself, I honestly had an alright time with it. The Paula enemy that you have to run from can ♥♥♥♥ right off, along with the final boss. Fleming's fight in particular is tedium incarnate! One last note, maybe it's because I'm not 15 anymore, but a lot of the ♥♥♥♥ jokes just feel tiring. Like that whole big boner section. But I suppose the juvenile humor is part of its core identity.
