Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shadows of Doubt is set in an alternate reality in the hyper-industrialized 1980s. Think like a detective and use a variety of gadgets as a private intelligence investigator, gathering evidence and making money by solving cases, finding and selling information and more.
Play your own way in a fully simulated world with hundreds of citizens. Discover, meet and tail individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine, in unique, procedurally-generated cities. Each case has different culprits, clues and experiences for you to test your investigative skills.
Explore anywhere in the city! Every nook of every trashy bar, every place of work, every seedy hotel room… This dystopia is your oyster. Break into apartments, rifle through secret documents or hack security systems - even a discarded receipt can be the key to cracking a case. Trace the receipt back to an individual location, scour CCTV footage and match the time up to the receipt to find out who it belonged to!
The entire world is fully simulated. Each citizen has an apartment, job, daily routine, favorite things to do, places to go, and people to interact with. They live out their lives independently, in a world that moves on with or without you— uncover this knowledge and use it to your advantage!
Become a private investigator in a truly unique detective experience. Think like a detective to solve the cases around you: check call histories, find passwords, read private emails, speak to persons of interest, watch CCTV footage and more to retrieve evidence and build your case. ta bien
What do you get if you take: Deus Ex "ish" Mechanics in a "down on his luck" detective from the FPS perspective (multiple ways to tackle goal, sneaking, cybernetic upgrades) while navigating a living breathing Sandbox world (NPC's have scheduled days and designated homes, they work, eat, sleep, and at least one of them murders!!!!) All filtered through a brilliant alt-history + post apocalypse + diesel/steampunk world. This incredible game, absolute recommend. Must Buy if you like: Sandbox gameplay Detective Games Procedurally gen maps (same mechanics but infinite variations in a way) Check this out if you have played: Deus Ex Hitman (and dont mind FPS) Thief Avoid if: story/plot, or a scripted narrative arc is required. you must have the most power / biggest gun in the fight(you're a detective not an enforcer). allergic to pinboards &/or string. If you have read this far you want the real. It does have bugs, but its worth the ride as no-one or there mum gets to simulate this much stuff and it not be chaotic, have you seen outside???
It's confusing at first, but there comes a point when everything flows smoothly.
