Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is really playable if you like detective games you will love this, I know I do
It's my first review in steam, bcs this game is fantastic! Sure, there is no a lot of things to do after you finished it, but it's very interesting to do it at least once. Hope there will be more parts and features in the future.
yes
I can't believe I waited so long to buy Shadows of Doubt. While it definitely has its jankiness, it's an immersive game that's an absolute blast to play and I have sank 7 hours into in the first 24 hours of owning it. After completing the tutorial case where I was more or less hand fed the solution of the case, I was off on my own to solve the next murder. Someone stabbed to death in the street, with their blood left in a rune shape around them. A single spent shell casing was next to the corpse. Over the next in game week, I spent every waking hour checking out apartments, interrogating people connected to the victim, and taking lots and LOTS of fingerprints, all in pursuit of the killer. My main lead was the fact that the bullet found at the scene had fingerprints on it. However, despite at one point searching through dozens of names in a government database for fingerprint records, I never once found who those prints belonged to. After exploring countless leads and coming close to giving up as the killer claimed more and more victims with seemingly no evidence, one more case came in. I went to the scene and was one of the first people to arrive along with the Enforcers. The victim wasn't someone who had come up in my investigation so far. Out of the dozens of people I'd checked, I hadn't even heard her name. Her death was the same as the others. Stabbed, rune pattern of blood. But next to her body was a kitchen knife, bearing the fingerprints of one of my first Persons of Interest. The very first guy I questioned. Everything suggested he was innocent. He cooperated, gave me tons of information and his fingerprints didn't match those on the shell casing. I assumed it was a fluke. Maybe he had visited the apartment or the knife was from somewhere else. So I checked the rest of the apartment. No fingerprints of anyone else other than the victim. Not even the new suspect's prints were anywhere else in the apartment. I did some investigating. Looked on her computer, checked her cabinets and looked for information of interest. I found a diary describing an uncomfortable interaction with a man. She described his height, weight, hair. It all described my new suspect. I looked at my case board with nearly a hundred different notes on it. I brought the new suspect and the final victim together. Besides for the fact that all the victims knew him, none of the other evidence suggested this was the guy. But the evidence against him at least in this one case was strong. I went down to his apartment and asked to speak with him. He was uncooperative, so I escalated things by placing him in handcuffs and forcing my way into his apartment. I searched his apartment, but still didn't find any clues. I went to him and interrogated him directly. I asked him if he knew the victim. He said yes, and that she was killed. However, she had only just died minutes before. There was no way he could know if he was home the whole time. I informed him that he was being arrested for her murder. He then made some comments about an organization he was a part of. I went down to City Hall, submitted the charge papers, and the Enforcers took him into custody. And it turned out, I was right. And so, the serial killer responsible for more than five murders was caught. Shadows of Doubt is an all in all thrilling experience that I highly recommend. Now that I've played with the training wheels off and understand the game better, I think I'll restart with a new procedurally generated map!
Best detective simulator ever! 8.5/10 Performance could be better, but overall it’s a great game.
