The unique cyberpunk-meets-fantasy world of Shadowrun has gained a huge cult following since its creation nearly 25 years ago. Now, creator Jordan Weisman returns to the world of Shadowrun, modernizing this classic game setting as a single player, turn-based tactical RPG.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If your using a 4k display, you may as well give up, its pretty unplayable using 4k due to how small the text is, yes the interface can be adjusted but not the in game text which is far too small to read properly. Probably a different experience if your playing on a screen using a smaller resolution.
Missons are frustrating but the turn-based action is interesting.

If you played and enjoyed the original on SNES then the odds are good that you will love SR Returns and the follow-ups, SR Dragonfall and SR Hong Kong. Each entry has a solid or better storyline with fairly well measured talent progression and all 3 titles also have tons of amazing user created content and storylines in the workshop which greatly expand the life of each game. If you are new to the series, but familiar with the general style and type of gameplay and graphics, then the lore and story should satisfy well. After you have digested all 3 titles then you can move onto the modern day version of this/these games, which is Cyberpunk.
One of the first and coolest crpg, I've ever played. Great story, awesome character designs, and combat is fun! If fantasy cyberpunk is your cup of tea, then this is right up your alley. Replayable in so many ways! Cons: combat can be frustrating for first time crpg players, may take a few tries in some quests... GO PLAY! Cheers!
On paper this is right up my alley, but in reality it just feels clunky and plodding. I beat this years and years ago when it first came out, but on a recent replay attempt I got bored of the strategy-heavy battles before I made it through enough of the game for the story to pull me in. I'm not really sure how I made it through this then, but I certainly can't now. If you love strategy RPGs, this may work for you! It doesn't for me, at least not in 2024.
fun game reminds me of playing the table top version
The best in the series imo.
Pretty basic and linear, but good enough for one time play and introduction to Shadowrun worldbuilding
Really enjoyed this cyberpunk CRPG in the Shadowrun setting. The next game in their trilogy (Dragonfall) is a major improvement in all respects, but this was a fun introduction. A real shame what happened to the people working at the development studio.
Not great. Style is decent but the story is short and linear, maps are small, and there are an awful lot of load screens. Combat is bland and revolves around chance-to-hit. Character skills theoretically "improve" the chance and damage but since it doesn't show the numbers... maybe it helps? Any appreciation I had for the game was killed by the final corridor slog:
Having to re-kill all the bugs with the horrible special weapons was awful. Miss, hit, miss, reload... kill it again...
Never again.
