I played Shadowhand Solitaire first, not realizing this was the original game! While the story is the same for both games, I actually preferred this as an RPG and the game mechanics of this game to Shadowhand Solitaire. And it took me playing this version for me to realize Lady Cornelia is Lady Fleetwood from Regency Solitaire. So I love that this is a fun backstory for her!
This game is way WAY too RNG based, to the point that RPG elements become completely trivial. The amount of time it takes to play this game to completion is almost entirely based on the amount of time you WASTE pressing "reset hand" because you get a bad start. That, and whenever the AI cheats and constantly give card layouts that give your opponents 10x streaks. Avoid this game!
good
Great twist on one-up, one-down solitaire making it considerably more challenging than the typical games of this genre. Also a well-done storyline and details. The layouts seem more challenging than many card games, even though only about 25% are turn-based battles. It's the duels with the opponents which made this game really interesting for me, as there's a lot of strategizing involved with picking out your weapons, clothing, gear, and card playing abilities to best arm yourself against each different character you meet. The last few chapters of the 22 chapters total are grindy if you want to 3 star everything. If you like the concept of this game but battles aren't for you, there's a purely casual version of this game available.

OK, this game advertises itself as CRPG, and if I had to note it as a CRPG, it is about 0/10. This game is just a Solitaire. No more, no less. Now, as a Solitaire, it is not too bad, provided you like Solitaires. It is clearly not my cup of tea, but since I had it for a while in my Library, I could not refund and had to play it.
It's a fine idea...worth getting. Be aware though, the computer keeps getting monster hands so if you can tolerate the computer with its "usual lottery winning odds" for a few rounds before you win, then this game should be just fine.
Nice card game, with skill cards, different weapons and armour for the character. Being able to access the in-game shop at any time would of been a great addition.
Fun card game. I like the addition of the duels to just playing cards. Adds a fun mix to things. Solitaire with flair!
