DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice is a game developed by Mimimi Productions and published by Daedalic Entertainment and is an expansion in the Shadow Tactics story You can choose to kill as a lone wolf or chain a sequence of actions between two or more mission specific heroes. Group takedowns set the scene for some remarkable assassinations. Each hero is designed for a specific purpose and the balancing is perfect. The five heroes specialise in their own respective area of expertise: close-quarters, ranged, stealth/covert, and trap-setter. The overall package of one hero completes the shortcomings of the next hero. The game offers multiple hotkeys and multi-select feature and the gameplay is not cluttered with an extravagant array of actions or overly-detailed HUD. You can also rebind every action. Even the save and load keys Graphically, Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice boasts a beautiful side-down cell-shaded art direction. You can rotate the camera freely or with 90-degree presets. You can zoom in and out and freely scout the map ahead and plan your phase of engagement accordingly. Additional design touches, such as being able to leave footprints in the snow, broadens the application of thorough planning and execution and the musical score is relaxing and well composed with the make-up of traditional Japanese musical instruments What I love is that you can either play the game with either English voice overs or Japanese voice overs with English subtitles which I highly recommend because the voice actors are really well portrayed, in the Japanese versionat least However, there are times where I find my actions are locked and my computer was working extra hard to keep this game running regardless of the graphical settings, with an occasional heating issue I experience with very few games. I noticed several others in the community are also experiencing similar issues therefore can only assume there may be a stability leak somewhere Also, I have noticed a whole load of framerate drops and my computer can definitely run this on high with my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and the loading screens are ridiculously long, way too long Overall, Mimimi Productions and Daedalic Entertainment have delivered an outstanding product despite some little complaints here and there. I thoroughly enjoy tactical/strategy games and in this particular time period in Japan.
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

原本我以为这个游戏很简单4399那种,但是玩了之后发现设计的很不错,尤其不能慢动作这一块挑战很高也很有趣,非常的好玩
Recht schwer, gleichzeitig nicht schlecht. Empfehlung!
Need Shadow Tactics 2 or something!!!

Spin off muito bom!!!
非常逆天的bug,开了蓝牙我就不能启动游戏,不开蓝牙我就不能游玩游戏。。。
"Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice" is a short DLC for Shadow Tactics that was released as if it was a full game instead of being a DLC. Shadow Tactics (and this "DLC" for it) is a stealth action game with RPG elements designed for XBox and Playstation and ported to PC. Gameplay consists of stealthing around, avoiding combat, using special abilties of your multiple characters to distract/stealth kill your enemies and hide the bodies. Kinda like Hitman but with a vague and unrealistic Japanese historical theme and a top down view styled basically off the ancient 1990's WW2 stealth action game series, Commandos. Which is not to say this is completely terrible, it's got AAA production values, but also, for a 5 year old DLC masquerading as a full AAA game, it's carrying the same kind of pricing which is where the key problem lies. The plot follows one of the characters from Shadow Tactics, a lady ninja, Aiko, who performs her ninja assassin work, blending seamlessly into the urban environment by wearing a hot pink anime girl outfit. I told you it was inauthentic... I guess we can be kind and suggest the game is "Japanese adjacent". And I think that's pretty typical of the plot here, it reads off as a weak anime fan-fiction, which is worse than we'd expect from something being pushed as a AAA product. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. The game has surprisingly decent graphics, the developers seem to understand the old axiom that gaming is a visual medium, so this gets a pass. Unfortunately there's other problems that make this difficult for gamers to want to part with their time and money. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Is this game one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice has the greedy, cash grab price of $20 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. For comparison, the $20 asking price for this game could get you games like "New World", "Stray" or "Detroit: Become Human". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. Unfortunately Steam reviewers aren't presented with a "Maybe" option... if they did, that's what I'd choose. This isn't a completely bad game, but it's also not one of the best. As always, if you read my review and you can overlook the negatives I've called out, or they just aren't important to you, then by all means go ahead and buy this.
