Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 9 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Explore a gorgeous roguelite hockey world where every choice matters on your journey to restore hockey to its former glory. Hire unique players, manage your benchwarmers, discover synergies between them, choose new abilities, bribe the referees, visit the Blademaster for upgrades and a lot more.
Take charge of a ragtag group of hockey players in a roguelite journey across a mysterious land. As the newly appointed captain, every choice matters on your path to discover the secret of hockey's last bastion. Hire superstars, utilize the synergy found between players, and harness ruthless abilities, all in favor of crafting an unbeatable team.
Easier said than done, as the ultimate dream team doesn’t appear out of thin air. Use losses as an opportunity to visit the mighty Blademaster in between runs and permanently upgrade your hero for the battles ahead. When the Center is still flubbing every single face-off, there’s no shame in lining the ref’s pockets with some sweet “maple syrup.”
Combining modern precision with fast-paced 90s-inspired action, Tape to Tape offers a unique experience in the form of a simcade hockey experience. Bone-crushing body checks and stellar saves will keep players shaking in their skates, but mastering the dynamic puck physics system will secure the victory. Players and goalies will react to the puck bouncing off sticks and ricocheting off faces creating organic and emergent battles on the ice. Thankfully, there is no penalty when a tooth is lost.
A deep Roguelite campaign featuring countless powerups, events, boss battles and unique players
Create and customize your teams and players with power-ups, artifacts, and personalized color options
Over 40 different teams, each with unique synergies and colorful players
Local, couch and Steam Remote Play multiplayer for up to 10 players
Innovative goaltenders that react organically to any shot, deflected puck or rebound -goals never feel unfair
A unique co-op campaign delivering a roguelite experience like no other
Challenge your friends in Tournament, Play now or Shootout modes or play the Campaign cooperatively
A unique gorgeous blend of hand-drawn 2D sprites and animations in a 3D environment
Note: Tape to Tape does not feature native online multiplayer. However, you can still play with friends remotely using Steam Remote Play Together or third-party services such as Parsec.
Experience the Roguelite Campaign at its best in co-op. Team up with friends to conquer the campaign, debate every power-up choice, and embrace the glorious chaos that makes each run unforgettable.
You can also jump into Play Now mode, where up to 10 players can face off locally. With a wide variety of teams, deep gameplay, and countless power-ups, every match feels chaotic, competitive, and endlessly replayable.

After nearly 40 videos on my YT channel and 130+ Hours, I can easily say this is the best modern hockey game of our time. If it looks fun to you and you like ARCADE Hockey, this one is a MUST. I purchased this game myself and nobody asked me to write a review, instead, I strongly feel more people should enjoy this game if you're looking for a Hockey sim or a Roguelite. A True 10/10 A+++ that somehow keeps getting better with each update. A personal favorite of mine.
Fantastic game. This is the most fun I've had playing a hockey game since NHL Hitz.

This is the answer for those jonesing for old school hockey before EA ruined it. If they used these game mechanics for a semi-serious, line changing, player fighting, league pursuing game, then the EA monster could be slain. Real players and institutions be damned for their greediness.
Great game, very fun rouge like. Please come out with a soccer version!
This game is awesome! It's like the NHL-games from back in the 90's with a bunch of over the top violence and silly abilities thrown in... As a bonus it works flawlessly on the steam deck! I only wish you could do proper online PvP with other people than your friends through "Remote play together"
Best hockey game on pc but there are no hockey games on pc. So far i give this a solid 7/10 where normal nhl games only sit at a 4 or 5/10. Those nhl games have millions invested into them and are nowhere near as good as this, its sad. Plus they wont even release it on pc.... The playtest is great, I bought the game right after the playtest and I think the devs should keep that on the store as a trial version to let people see how good this game is and can be. Without real demos like that, I wont buy games anymore, and paywalling betas is the dumbest thing any dev could do. Ive read they will add fighting soon, Im hoping they add the option to make goalies hittable when they grab the puck so far out and other things the nhl games miss these days. I think if they keep up what they are doing they could make the best pc hockey game, and if it wernt for the graphics everyone that plays nhl would play this on pc. Maybe adding a few more animations and keeping a large variance for hits and whatnot make the simple graphics still feel like theres real impact in the checks. Even with how simple it is now, getting a hit just feels nice and it pops. The more gamemodes that nhls have that are added will keep this game on top and I really think once it catches on it wont be stopped. WE HAVE ALL WAITED YEARS FOR HOCKEY ON PC AND ITS HERE. Id buy this game 3 more times if the game had a few more features, but for the price and it being early beta or whatever i cant complain at all. For what it is, what options we have $25 is a steal. If the graphics "were better" and i dont mind the graphics, this EASILY COMPAIRES to "triple A" companies. 10/10 for what it is but 7/10 because theres some stuff missing, but again thats okay.
I actually love this game, but I feel like I'm rarely ever outplayed by the opponent AI. I would guess 90% of my loses come from my own goalie deciding to play a entirely different game. It feels awful seeing the most basic of shots go in when you're on the 3rd level with a good run. He never feels like he upgrades or gets better during the run. The powerups you can give him feel mostly worthless. I consistently get .89 goalie save percentage with him and he feels like a complete detriment. It's wild as some games he seems completely unstoppable. There is no kind of consistency. Makes the game unfun and frustrating to play at times.
Really fun game play elements and surprisingly fun overall. Well done!
Easy to pick up. Throwing sticks at the ref is therapeutic
The best hockey game you can play on PC. It even outshines official NHL game on consoles in many ways.
