One game, five great battles where the US Marines gained even more glory, at the price of terrible losses. Relive bloody assaults on Saipan, Tinian, Tarawa, Iwo Jima and Peleliu in this recreation of epic land battles of the Pacific War. Both sides are playable, each with their own challenge

A friend of mine who tested it has recommended this game. I already have quite a few in those SGS series and love the easy gameplay and the atmosphere created by events and cards. Played both sides. The US is really challenging and despite all the good troops, air and nval support assets and wealth of cards, I managed to lose twice against the AI (granted, in the most difficult scenarios). Good job on that part by the way, the Japanese show good reactivity, even if essentially passive. Playing the Japanese is quite a challenge too. You know you are going to suffer and lose, but it's a lot of fun to spoil all the AI attempts. You always have some leftover units that can wreck havoc. On the down side the map for Tarawa is really tiny...but Betio was not a large island either... you can ease your way thanks to the zoom in/out but I would have liked a larger map. I am eager to play this one in PBEM, it should be really fun, but the first attempt, human vs. AI is already well executed. My congrats to the designer also for the flavor. Can't wait for Okinawa if they decide to do it! Gung Ho!
It's a good game, but it has a bug I'm the Japanese army and I'm on the defensive side of the battle, in the battle the US didn't play offensive battle cards, I had defensive battle cards that I could play but I chose not to play them, I had to hit the No card button twice to make sure I didn't play any battle cards, I have to press the button twice.I found that in the Iwo Jima script, when I was in the US Army, I chose not to play an attack card in an attack battle and had to click the button twice This may be a bug. In combat, if the US plays an offensive battle card and I choose not to play a defensive battle card, then I only have to click the button that doesn't play the card once. I found this problem in Iwo Jima script. Can you fix this bug

Game looks to be challenging and fun. The tutorial is done hastily and I cannot understand the narration. Better read the manual or you will be wasting a lot of time.
很有意思的桌游战略游戏,日军的炮兵和装甲实在弱,活用机枪似乎很重要,第三个剧本的日军较弱,第一个剧本图小,适合上手,1,2的日军相对强,适合日军上手
Tu as vu "Mémoire de nos pères" et "Lettres d'Iwo Jima 12 fois" ? Tu te passes en boucle "Band of Brother Pacific" ? Alors tu peux y aller, tu vas kiffer.
I am Holland Smith, my marines were just wiped out buy the ♥♥♥♥ on the beach. Now, the ♥♥♥♥ are attacking my HQ,I will never surrender, long live the United States!
Once "you get it", the game play and depth of this game and others in the series really shines. So much play value due to card play and the vagaries of the dice. It is difficult to attack in the battles depicted herein due to the depth and determination of Japanese defenders. Challenge is good and these island battles are indeed challenging.
Great scenarios
It a great game
An historic recreation of this battle. This is a game that a grognard can really sink his teeth into.
