Beautiful art style and music. Gameplay wasn't for me in the long run, but i recommend it for anyone looking for a quick bite of an impressionistic simple game.
The best thing about this game is the vibes, which are some of the best I've seen in an indie game. I like it very much. The combat wasn't especially challenging, but was fun nonetheless. It was a good way to occupy time while taking in the scenery and listening to the music. The music is very good, especially in the first sky. It compliments the map, and doesn't get irritating over time, as some game soundtracks do. there are some minor issues with map structuring(poorly defined borders) and sometimes dialogue text remains on the screen for too long, but these are very minor issues. Very nice game
A pretty game that's slow paced and atmospheric. Follows a story with the odd burst of combat as the story requires. It won't be for everyone and I feel is more for people who are interested in taking there time and soaking in the story, music and visuals.
What a discovery! Nowadays, video games seem to be only focused on promoting competitiveness and adrenaline. Seven Skies to Paradise emerges as a huge breath of fresh air. This product is less a game in the traditional sense, and more a beautifully crafted experience that offers a captivating and serene game play. The simple, yet profound, engaging plot allows the player to free her imagination, and is an encouragement to ponder on deep themes. This is a story that stays with you, long after navigating through the 7 skies. Perhaps the most striking aspect of Seven Skies to Paradise is its art and music. Each frame of the game is a masterpiece, where each detail is carefully curated. The drawings spread a sense of peace and tranquillity that is rarely found in the digital realm. Accompanying this visual feast is a soundtrack that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the game. The music is not just background noise, it is an integral part of the experience. The gameplay is intentionally simple, allowing users to immerse themselves in its world without frustration. This simplicity does not detract from the experience. Rather, it enhances the game's meditative and peaceful vibe. To sum up, Seven Skies To Paradise is more than just a game: it is a mood, an atmosphere, an escape from the chaos of the everyday. Playing this game feels like stepping into a different realm, similarly to how one could feel while reading a book, watching a movie, or visiting an art gallery. It's a rare gem that manages to capture the essence of peace and tranquillity, offering a sanctuary for those seeking solace in the digital space. In my opinion, this is a must-play for anyone looking for a game that prioritises artistry, narrative, and mood over traditional gameplay mechanics.
The style and presentation are really amazing, everything feels nostalgic and dreamy in a good way. I can't wait to navigate all the seven skies!
A nice poetic experience with interesting concepts, especially gameplay wise, but a severe lack of polish and not the greatest pace. I have met several bugs, some gamebraking, in just one playthrough. The more interesting parts of the game are at the very end (6th sky), while the beginning feels slow and pushy. It lacks QOL and would have been more interesting with a dash. But, when it works, in terms of gameplay, ambiance, art, it works very well.
It has a unique art style, the gameplay is quite simple but I quite enjoyed it, it has a lot of heart to it and feels like a labour of love!
First impressions of this game: Easy to follow, love the music and artwork :) Very relaxing vibe for an indie game <3 Keep it up!
ONE of the most beautiful games I've played, the music story everything. the gameplay is its weakest link being kinda clunky Just its bit on the difficult side a really hope some sorta adjustable difficulty can be introduced
This game was a great discovery. The gameplay is really engaging and the soundtrack fits the story just perfectly. The graphics make the player feel immersed in a distant dreamy world that is filled with nostalgia. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone!
