Nixxsz Castle

Character moves too fast, feels like I am fighting against forward momentum constantly. Like I wanna reach in the screen grab the little dude by the shoulders and shake him yelling "stop that! stop ramming into every death trap and overshooting every jump!" When the controls are the challenge, there is a problem. And every level becomes the over used ice level trope so many platforms trotted out. I made it all the way to the end. The dash is pretty impossible to use with a controller - you have to press forward at the same time as the button to dash and that will always spell death via to much forward momentum. In most games you wnat to double jump for the additional height, or because doing so lets you perform additional attacks (Alucards drop kick from SotN) but here, it causes overshoot (forward to far) so I had to learn to make a little "double hop" to land where I needed or else accidentally ruin the door puzzle by slamming into the door I didn't want. One of the "bats" warns the game is hard and to try not to get to frustrated. No, I disagree fully, the game is not at all hard - the controls are hard. Wanna make the game easier? run it in a resource starved environment (say a low powered VM) to induce some slowless. You'll have more time to STOP your character before he rams himself into impending death. p.s. Took me 20 min to clear the whole thing, then I spent the rest of my 0.9hrs trying to get out of bounds to see if anything was hidden.

Terrible, slippery controls and imprecise platforms, along with dieing in next frame randomly when near spikes but not on them

While the dev fixed some things (the "momentum" for example), the game still feels horrible and inconsistent. I might just play some Syobon Action (aka "Cat Mario") to release my stress after this game. 5 Minutes. That's literally all the time you need to complete this game in it's current state. Just Five Minutes. (Even if I'm being generous, the worst amount of time this game takes is a mere 10 minutes because of the jank controls combined with the rather awkward platforming...) Just play something else. Don't let this game fill your library for the sake of filling up your library.

Nice and fun, Cool for trying speedruns, only thing is the blocks that slide should maybe be optional, since they add a level of difficulty but it can be somewhat annoying. Overall it's nice and a little hard but in a nice way! love that there's not so much levels as it can be nice to try and do a time record of some sort! looking forward for the next levels:)
