Serious Sam is a high-adrenaline arcade-action shooter heavily focused on frantic action. In a world where cyberpunk meets fantasy-fiction and advanced technology is mixed with black magic and psycho-powers, Sam travels through four beautiful worlds, confronting countless foes on his way to Mental's base.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have the original FE & SE on disc from back in the day. I never heard of Bright Island until I played this. Since arena shooters were still somewhat of a new thing, I was super into Serious Sam when it first came out, taking it more seriously, no pun intended, than I probably should have. My favorite part of the game is the visuals. The worlds are beautiful and the enemies and weapons are good to look at. The gameplay is literally go from point A to point B and fight a hoard. Over and over. That's not to say that it's tiresomely repetitive, because the areas and levels are always different. It's built so that every battle feels new. Depending on the enemies present, and the number of them, different weapons and strategies should be used. There are usually a good amount of breaks in between battles, and there's only one part of the three games that was truly a stamina battle, at least for me. Of all your weapons, only one of them ever needs reloading. I honestly don't know why there's even a button for it. I wonder if the goal was to appeal to people who had played Half-Life previously as a first impression, or something. My only beef with this game is some of the achievements. It's as if the guy in charge of achievements reviewed ones from other titles of the same genre, and decided some of them needed to be 10x worse than necessary. If you're a completionist, you'll get what I mean. Anyway, the games were fun and I think anyone who's a fan of old school FPSs should give this a try.
fun fun.
