较为单薄重复,关键是不好玩
Trash Chinese abandonware. Ran into bugs like an attack animation being stuck in front of my guy even with restarts. Another one that involved the screen being stuck on one part of the level and not following character. The game looks decent but in typical asian unity fashion the animations are stiff and janky. Most of the game design is flawed. Hitboxes are awful, sometimes you jump up onto a building and sometimes you go through it. Sometimes you stagger guys with attack and then sometimes those same guys randomly can attack through and hurt you. Enemy attacks come out of nowhere and are janky and poorly signposted as well, and even if they do warn you its .5 seconds before they do a jumping or screen filling attack making dodge near impossible unless you sit around and wait for it. All enemies have WAYYY too much health but you have to fight like 6 at once. The bosses have 3x the health they should have and it takes forever to kill them based on the amount of damage you do, but random mobs and bosses can melt your health in seconds. The healing system is the worst I've ever seen. You get a single healing item, and herb, and each one heals 1/20th your health in the first world, so after using 8 of them you've almost healed half of your health.....but yeah thats it for healing. And some enemies will drop health orbs rarely. Theres a camp stage before the boss but for some reason it doesn't even heal you all the way, not even half. Nothing of the game is explained, I attacked a golden statue and it did nothing. The metaprogression sucks. You will get a thing every few runs that will unlock one single weapon to maybe find. Other than that you've use it for some increased health and then mostly just being able to keep some stuff between runs, but they cost 120-180 and you will maybe make 40-50 per run, sometimes none if you die early, so expect 1 upgrade every few runs. Its pretty boring. You fight the same enemies on the same levels, with no real randomization. I got mostly the same 4-5 weapons or variations and would OCCASIONALLY get something different. Later weapon unlocks are the same weapons within the 5 or so weapon types and the only thing that changes is their special move that you'll intermittently use but that doesn't change the gameplay that drastically. The dodge system is the worst you've ever seen. You get 3 dodges but they take FOREVER to recharge. So one boss will attack you 2-3x in a row and can do that continuosly but your dodges won't recharge and theres no way to mitigate damage since no parry or block unless you use 1 single weapon. This leads to you getting cheap damage, as well as inability to attack cancel and some special moves not giving you i-frames so you get hurt while spending 2 min in an animation before, after, or during. Combat is also just spamming a singular stack button over and over with occasional special move thrown, butthere's no real combos or depth to the combat. The game is hard but in a janky artificial way, due to poor healing, janky animations and poorly signposted attacks without proper dodge windows, way too much enemy health, and lack of proper dodge/parry system. That combined with a lackluster metaprogression with too grindy requirements, and repetitive levels/enemies as well as the only thing changed between runs being weapons, without different things like classes or abilities, leads to a poor imitation of dead souls. Theres a reason this game is full price under 10 bucks, and they stopped updating shortly after release. Steer clear. 5/10.
This could be a good game, if some of its flaws were ironed out. As it stands now it's just a poor man's Dead Cells.
Seed Hunter 猎源 is a fast-paced 2D action roguelite that mixes fluid combat, cartoon-styled visuals, and a hefty dose of build experimentation into a compact but energetic package. Developed by Wolf Knight and published by 2P Games, it follows an alien hunter stranded on Earth and tasked with recovering mysterious “source seeds” across procedurally generated levels. Like many roguelites, it embraces repetition as part of its design philosophy—each failed attempt fuels the next, each run introduces new combinations of weapons and cards, and each encounter encourages mastery of its combat rhythm. What distinguishes Seed Hunter is its frantic melee focus, stylish hand-drawn animations, and an unexpectedly large arsenal that continuously nudges you toward new playstyles. The foundation of the game lies in its expansive weapon system. With more than thirty weapons across multiple categories—including swords, dual blades, bows, kunai, axes, greatswords, and sword-and-shield combinations—every run feels shaped by the tools you find early on. Each weapon type introduces its own attack patterns, ranges, and momentum, and part of the game’s joy comes from learning how each one flows into dodges, jumps, and combos. Complementing the gear is a collection of ability cards that function as skill modifiers. These cards, drawn from different upgrade paths, can dramatically adjust the feel and power curve of your build. Some introduce elemental effects, others strengthen combos, and a few provide defensive or mobility enhancements. When the system clicks, it delivers that satisfying roguelite sensation where your character transforms from clumsy beginner to stylish whirlwind. Visually, Seed Hunter wears its artistic ambition on its sleeve. The developer cites inspiration from traditional handcrafted animation, and while it doesn’t reach the extreme detail of something like Cuphead, it nonetheless delivers expressive characters, punchy effects, and charming enemy designs. Movements have a lively exaggeration that helps combat feel snappy, and the bright, saturated palette gives each stage a vivid, upbeat tone. The world, while not narrative-heavy, benefits from cohesive aesthetic choices that clearly communicate attack cues and hazards. It creates a pleasant environment to run through again and again, especially given the game’s emphasis on repeat play. The roguelite progression does a good job of easing players forward. Permanent upgrades unlock gradually, improving survivability over a series of attempts, and the card system allows your later runs to feel increasingly personalized. Even so, Seed Hunter’s long-term replayability isn’t as deep as some of the genre’s leaders. While weapons and cards provide variety, the procedural level layouts and enemy encounters can feel familiar after several hours, and the upgrade paths don’t dramatically change the structure of future runs. The result is a roguelite that excels in short bursts—ideal for players who enjoy snappy combat and experimentation—but one that might not sustain marathon sessions without running into repetition. Despite its appealing combat, the game shows some rough edges typical of smaller indie productions. Balance across weapon types and cards can be inconsistent, with certain builds clearly outperforming others. Some players may find the pacing or enemy behavior occasionally uneven, and the level design, while serviceable, doesn’t always capitalize on the game’s robust movement mechanics. Still, these shortcomings rarely detract from the core fun; they simply place Seed Hunter in the category of a solid mid-tier roguelite rather than a genre standout. Seed Hunter ultimately succeeds by embracing the things it does best: flashy, responsive melee combat, generous build experimentation, and an art style with plenty of personality. It’s approachable for newcomers, satisfying for players who love trying different loadouts, and ideally suited to short, action-heavy play sessions. While it doesn’t reinvent the roguelite formula or deliver the long-term depth of larger titles, it offers a tightly crafted experience that rewards curiosity and experimentation. For fans of indie action platformers with a strong focus on combat variety, it’s an enjoyable and worthwhile addition to the genre. Rating: 6/10
divertido e bonito
