Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Follow our Curator Group for more reviews
Secrets of Magic: The Book of Spells is a match 3 game that is pretty standard for the genre. In general, the match 3 genre is stale and formulaic, but there are some games that stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately, Secrets of Magic isn't one of those, instead relying on the same boring mechanics that 99% of match 3 games use. After playing the first level, you've essentially played the whole game. Some minor things change between levels, but overall, it's a mind numbing slog to get through the game. It isn't shockingly bad or anything like that, there just isn't much reason to play this when better versions of this are available. Maybe huge fans of the genre could enjoy this, but I personally doubt that. The average steam user won't enjoy this, primarily due to the repetitiveness and the unoriginal gameplay. 2/10
Visit our website for more in-depth reviews and recommendations
Nice simple little Match3 with a cuty factor. Nothing really special except falling sounds.

Guess what? I played some Match-3! Such a colorful and fun looking game. So it is what you expect + power ups, which you actually upgrade... By money. You usually don't do that in other Match-3s, that's why I mentioned it. You go on a quest to do things (no spoilers) and you wont finish it... You need the next game to do it. I gotta say though... the wizard guy and the witch lady should team up and rescue people themselves... Just saying. Also, IF you DO NOT WATCH all THREE STARS pop up in your ENDING SCORE? You will get... ONE STAR ONLY! And yes, it happened to me more than three times... Tch. I like that you can move droppable items and swap them... But I hate it that when you activate one "board power up" (like a potion) and YOU HAVE TO swap that to make a LARGE match... You only activate the potion. I don't really hate it, but it is kind annoying to lose that big match swap... Overall, I have no qualms with it... I just HATE THOSE IMPS! I hate them! And those stupid spiders! Things have to line up so perfectly for me to actually put a stake through the damn imp's brain! And you can BURN the spiders... But one at a time. GRR! Oh and sometimes they throw webs twice in a row? If you got two spiders... Four webs in one swap? Maybe. Anyway... Good stuff. Relaxing... Until you meet the imps and spiders... The game is all good by me. Thank you! :D :0 =)
100% achievement hunters - you may want to pass on this one. There are two main goals each level, finish in under a certain number of moves and reach a certain score. On average, the faster someone finishes a level, the lower there score. So these goals are somewhat opposed to each other. You can buy more moves and for some levels, you may need to buy more moves several to many times. You can run out of currency, but you can restart the game to earn more. 100% is doable, but roughly 13% of the players do and they are probably mostly Match 3 game players. There are some nightmare levels near the end. #2 of this series is better.
Secrets of Magic: The Book of Spells
Good mechanics for a puzzle game, and the thematic is nice. Although it is not that challenging it is good to pass the time.
Decent match 3 game, nice to pass the time. Runs great under Linux.
Très beau jeu de match 3. Bravo! 8.5/10
