Secrets of Magic 2: Witches and Wizards

This is a fun match-3 with something resembling a story as you go along. This isn't particularly difficult, especially after you level up all the tools. I have the first Secrets of Magic, and this one is just as fun. 10 USD for 10 hours of fun - a lot cheaper than a movie or a manga.

Secrets of Magic 2: Witches and Wizards is a standard match 3 game (the move-a-piece-to-make-matches kind). It can be played in two modes - relaxed or challenge. The latter is to be played with limited moves. Moreover, there's also a "game difficulty" setting which proposes "casual" or "expert". It means more or less obstacles crates/stones and bonuses. By matching 4 or 5 piecces (any configuration), a bonus is triggered (bomb, missile, etc.). Automatic filling of the screen after a match _does_ also trigger bonusses - when 4 or 5 pieces match automatically. There are also "weapons" that are acquired at given levels. Said weapons can be upgraded with money that, itself, can be collected while playing (coins hidden beneath some pieces on board). Upon using a weapon (burn a spider web, for example), it will recharge while playing. I'm at level 20 when I write this review. I've had to set setting to the easiest possible to get 3 stars at level 1 ! So, way too difficult for my taste. Still, even at the easiest possible seeting, it is fun and even challenging with the spiders (spitting webs everywhere) and the demons (demultiplying all the time). I'm playing this on Win7 64bit without issue.

Слишком броская, пёстрая визуально после первой части, слегка сырая с анимациями. Саундтрек не плохой, но в первой мне больше понравился. Не понравилось что сократили рендж у бомбы, вроде необходимо для усложнения, но игра и без того трудная оказалась, потому что краснючки быстро спавнятся и захватывают клетки. Средняя. Пойдет.

Similar to the first game. But I don't like the change/tweaks that make it almost impossible to get 3 stars at each stage.
