Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Really enjoyable. Love the options and flexibility. Does not feel random, but does a good job making the situation feel tactical. Really looking forward to the air support and artillery expansion. Please Devs, pretty please!!!
This isn't a game with stunning graphics but rather an digital interpretation of the wargame 'Advanced Squad Leader' and minics many game and visual features of that classic game. Its got the ability to allow scenerio creation with terrain and unit builders so you have unending play options. If your'e into tactical ww2 games then you should like this game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its a faithful conversion of ASL for the PC - really brings the hex and counter tabletop to life. Plenty of workshop scenarios. Very good (for turn based wargame) and functional graphics with multiple camera angles. If you play ASL, you need this game.
Takes a little while to click but this rule system really provides fast paced yet deep tactical level WW2 action in spades.
If you've ever played and enjoyed ASL or SL you will likely enjoy this game. Solo vs AI only at this point so is a bit limited in its appeal, but for the price it's a good pick up.
I dont know why this game is so unpopular, its a fantastic turn based strategy game. It requires tactics, it has very concrete rules which makes it snappy and deterministic to play. If you like TBS, you must get this.
Second Front is better than I expected and I'm in awe of the dev. I was hesitant at first due to the complexity, but the tutorials so far are great. I wish there was a way to bring back the tutorial panel, since there's a lot to remember. I just did screenshots and referred back. One of my goals for purchasing Second Front is to learn general wargaming better and I think my goal wishes have been answered. I'm excited to finish the tutorials and start scenarios. The scenario editor option is very appealing as well. I see that the workshop already has a good number of ASL ones. I'm such a beginner that I'm hoping to find easy ones. Even so, I might build my own scenarios for fun and use a couple board games that I enjoy to mimic — Undaunted Normandy and D-Day Dice. We'll see.
If you play ASL and always wanted a way to play it on the PC with an AI opponent, buy this game! If you don't know what ASL is (Advanced Squad Leader) be aware this is a beautiful throwback to the golden age of board wargaming. ASL players will only need to familiarize themselves with the interface and digital mechanics since they already know the hundreds of pages of rules. For others they should take the time to read the manual and begin to understand the actual game mechanics. With this said though, the digital game removes all the burden of calculations necessary in the board game. What's beautiful here is the design is mostly transparent so the player still feels the calculation modifiers in play and so does not just act blindly as they play. The game quality of life improvements would go a long way making this a better iteration of the game. More hot keys are needed allowing the player to navigate the board and units better. As some have also pointed out an option to use gameboard chits for the units would be great too even if they are not the exact ASL icons and numbers. The isometric view sometimes makes it difficult to see where the units are exactly (can't remove trees) so a top-down view ala ASL would be welcome addition. Yes, zooming fully out gives top-down, but it isn't zoomable without it returning to isometric. All this aside, I highly recommend the game to tactical wargamers. I wish more knew about this game.
many, many years playing Advanced Squad Leader by MMP. At first I chafed at the defensive fire mechanics for Second Front, but after a while, I realized that both were just games, and it was all about just working the system. I love the quick play vs. ASL and the computer keeps track of everything. I'm SOOOOO totally hooked. I hope the designers keep expanding this great game.
tedious scenario selection/ map creation and workshop DLs not editable.... it's not necessarily a bad game, but these limitations place too much restriction on my ability to enjoy it.
