High-octane action and anime aesthetics collide in this arcade racing game, featuring fighting mechanics and a storyline that hits hard. In this world, some race for glory while others seek power or revenge. Every race is a fight and every battle is personal.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Longing, ambition, vengeance. Everyone has a reason to enter the Screamer tournament, and no one’s backing down. Join the competition and race side by side with fearless drivers, ready to push past every limit to chase what they believe in.

Five teams. Five reasons to risk it all – on and off the track.
Soldiers, scientists, criminals, superstars, and ruthless magnates. Different paths now converging on a single focal point: the Screamer tournament. Led by a mysterious master, this merciless competition will be the key to each participant’s personal goals.
Choose your driver wisely: each one steers a vehicle that mirrors their style, with a bespoke design and a unique ability that gives them an edge in this brutal showdown.

The stage of the most lethal races, this arcade racing game plunges you into a futuristic universe brimming with 90s anime vibes. Step into a neon-lit world and speed across tracks where the adrenaline is always high!

Mysterious tech that changed racing forever: the ECHO.
Thanks to it, cars don’t just race – they fight! Push them past the edge again and again. Juggle between Boost, Strike, and Shield to stay in the lead, unleashing blistering bursts of speed and well-placed hits to knock your rivals off the track. And once Overdrive kicks in, it’s full-throttle chaos: no mercy, no brakes, and no room for anyone in your path. Master the ECHO power and you’ll become a real Screamer!

A Screamer needs to be ready for any kind of challenge, and being the fastest isn’t always enough. Among the various game modes, you’ll find Team Races where crossing the finish line is just as important as taking down your opponents, while in others, the key is staying in Overdrive for as long as possible. Prove you’re the best no matter what challenge stands in your way, as well as online and in split-screen mode!

Reviews
Haven't felt this way since I played Ridge Racer Type 4 back in '99. The drifts, the tunes, the slightly-goofy-but-endearing story interludes!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is ultimately an action game, not so much a traditional racing game and not so much an anime game. Quite challenging, mind you, even on "balanced" difficulty. I think the discounted price (when on discount) is already OK for what is here. I definitely am surprised by how much I liked it and how much I ended up playing. I could probably have lowered the difficulty in some stages, but I just enjoyed the look and feel and the experience of learning the different tracks, the shortcuts, and so on. These developers are not to be underestimated, they are just not "JRPG developers", just keep that in mind. Excellent rumble and adaptive trigger support, at least on DualSense controller. Taking the story mode ("Tournament"), the "racing" in Screamer means "against the clock" at first, drifting and taking turns properly, and later in the story, evolves more into a Carmageddon-style deathmatch. The racers ("screamers") have mechanics like meter, supers, special moves, passive abilities, installs that last for some seconds, and so on. The anime (I thought) was great, although it is there primarily for supporting the gameplay progression, so whatever interaction happens between the characters is mostly to show a new ability, or a new mechanic, and so on. The story of the tournament is inevitably tragic for most characters. Anyway, the developers do a great job of giving different personalities to the racers, including their behavior on the track. It's a good thing that every team, and basically each character have their own story arc with its own ending, and nice details like that. Each character has voice in their own language, which makes the conversations really funny, especially if you understand some of the languages. We don't all know many languages, but most of us know some insult in multiple languages.
Tough, with a decently high barrier to entry thanks to mechanics and unusual control style, yet incredibly unique, fun and addicting, with an interesting and shockingly expansive story mode with a ton of lovable characters. Screamer is one of the most unique and greatest arcade racing games to release in the past decade, and definitely one of the most overlooked in the genre in general. Already my favorite game to release in 2026 and setting an incredibly high bar.
Overall it's an entertaining game and I liked it: Pros - Decent story though somewhat bizarre with the turn of the the last chapter. - Most characters are compelling, I liked them, liked how their paths are interwined even before the events of the tournament take place, and I liked how they developed during the game, but I shall note. - At gameplay level, each character car have an unique drive feel, some are faster, some have better handling, it's easy to get 1 or 2 that will become your favorites, and some others that you'll probably hate to drive. - Gameplay is very good, there is a considerable variety on tracks, cars and unique character abilities to choose and play. Races are challenging, fast paced and with a lot of action. -Split screen rund smooth, I really missed an entertaining racing game i could play on multiplayer split screen. - Fermi good boy, I woluld have liked that we could play more as him during the tournament. Cons - Roisin and Lavinia characters I didn't like, they are insufferable most of the time, and
the romance between them was kinda cringy, to the point that I laughed when Roisin believes Lavinia blew up to pieces, sorry not sorry.
- Some very specific tracks, though they could be good for any other racing game, were really painful to play in this game where you have to load and time your powers and boosts. - The story had an open ending for most of the characters, so I wonder if we'll ever see a sequel or if this will become and abandoned IP. - First chapter of the tournament is kinda boring, it only gets good at gameplay level once you unlock the boost and strike mechanics. - Higher difficulty feels more like enemies have infinite boosts and strikes to spam at will. 7.5/10
One of the very few racing games with a decent story. The car handling is great once it clicks and is extremely satisfying to master. Give the game a chance and it'll feel rewarding with enough practice. Anyone complaining about the handling just has a skill issue.
Recomendo totalmente. 09/10 - Arcade Racing Game It’s not a game; it’s an interactive anime. It’s not about racing; it’s about life stories and personal growth. If you didn't get it, the problem isn't with the game... Top-notch arcade racing—the kind we haven't seen in a long time. Highly recommended.
