Cyber Clutch: Hot Import Nights

My initial review of this game was somewhat critical because there were a few key things broken (achievements, leaderboards) or just sloppy (too many of those target-the-leader type weapons, called "orbital lasers" in this game), but I'm really happy to say that as of patch/hotfix 1.01, none of these issues are present anymore! Great job! The sense of speed here is excellent, at times you really feel like you're barely hanging onto the track, especially when you just come out of a drift for a speed boost, and take that speed boost over several speed up pads. I really like the track design too. There's not a lot going on in the backgrounds, but the tracks follow extreme curves and a lot of tracks are multi-level. You never know what's going to be around the next corner. The weapon system is also nicely done -- you have a main shot which only works as a burst fire and then needs a recharge, a special weapon depending on car type, and a variable weapon that is collected in ? symbols around the track. There's the usual quick race, cup championships, online (haven't tried that), and a garage for car upgrades. Follows the usual combat/kart racer structure and that's fine, no need to re-invent the wheel here. Thankfully I can now say this is a good arcade combat racer without reservation. Reminds me a bit of 2000s era combat racers Blur and Full Auto but obviously more budget minded compared to the finances Activision and Sega were able to afford on those games. 7.5/10

Such a Polished, fun game where it's like Need for Speed mixed with Mario Kart. Both single-player and multiplayer are a lot of fun with loads of different race tracks and a variety of vehicles, from homing missiles to flaming traps. AI is on par and challenging, but that what makes it chaotic and fun.

I really liked this game a lot more than first expected (I rarely play racing games). It's not perfect for sure, but the chaos in many ways makes it more entertaining and fun, and maybe not as "high stakes" competitive. I wish there were more "Vfx / celebration visuals" when unlocking new cars, winning a race ect. I hope there will be more ways to customize each car, the fact that you have complete "color freedom" is great!

Jugué con amigos el EA, y estuvo divertido! No estoy acostumbrado a los juegos de carrera, y me costó bastante hacer derrapes, quizás apretaba mucho el gatillo del freno xD. Tiene linda variedad de pistas. Le falta mas ruido al motor del auto. Y los iconos de las habilidades que tenemos, las dejaría fijas sin ninguna transparencia para que sean bien visible siempre

Love the cyberpunk setting.

Um dos jogos de corrida mais divertidos que joguei nos últimos tempos, simples e bem executado, tem uma variedade boa de carros e de personalizações, e uma quantidade razoável de pistas únicas. A trilha sonora do jogo é muito boa e a otimização do jogo ta absurda! Espero que com o lançamento o pessoal apareça no online. Não tive problemas com bugs nem nada do tipo mas duas coisas podem ser melhoradas, a primeira é o HUD, ele fica preso ao carro e é praticamente invisível por causa dos efeitos de neon, explosões e etc, uma opção de manter o hud fixo na em uma posição na tela e com cores mais flat seria muito bom, segundo é o tremor da tela, que as vezes parece bugar e faz a tela tremer muito, eu não tenho problemas com isso normalmente mas as vezes treme tanto a tela que chegou a me incomodar. Se você ta afim de um jogo de corrida simples e bem executado e com competitivo online, pode ir certo em Cyber Clutch.

Great under the radar arcade racing game.

A year later, a new publisher and a new update. With the influx of interest in keeping the IP alive and giving the game well needed new content you now have the essential you can expect from any racing game. The campaign mode is fun, unlocking new cars and cosmetics is easy and the expert courses feel actually challenging due to an improved AI. While defensive options are still lacking and the balance needs some tweaks (looking at you 1st place laser of doom), there is potential here for an entertaining racer. It needs some time and hopefully we see more updates soon, but overall enjoyable.

O jogo é desafiador, o que pra mim é um ponto super positivo! Me manteve envolvida o tempo todo, Foi uma experiência muito divertida!!! Um dos grandes destaques foi a customização dos carros. As opções são variadas e permitem criar um estilo único. Me diverti demais testando diferentes visuais, combinando cores, rodas e detalhes que deixaram meu carro com a minha cara.
