Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The SCP Foundation has gone dark. Disturbing intel from one of the many Foundation sites, Area-12, an underground biological research and containment facility in West Virginia, has been forwarded to an anomalous branch of the FBI, the Unusual Incidents Unit (UIU).
Upon arrival the UIU are ambushed and trapped within Area-12 by a facility wide lock-down, leaving you alone and without backup. For reasons yet unclear, Area-12 has adopted a new agenda: creating weaponized hybrids of anomalous creatures. Now the UIU must get to the bottom of “why” and stop them before these monstrosities are unleashed on innocent civilians.

Anomalies are reality-defying objects, artifacts and creatures that inhabit the cracks in our world. These anomalies are what the SCP Foundation was supposed to contain; and their anomalous nature makes them dangerous to the likes of you.

This game is very fun to play with friends. It's still a work in progress, but its charm outweighs any jankiness. There is nothing else quite like it: a multiplayer horror tactical shooter. If you are expecting perfection, do not buy this. If you don't mind a little jank and want to experience something unique that is clearly a work of passion, I highly recommend it. The developers have created something that is already a blast and has a lot of potential.

The game is cool and all and it certainly has a lot of potential but it just isnt there yet The optimization in this game is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so if you have a lower end pc or even near the mid tier please dont even try, it wont be a good experience It is a laggy and stuttery mess for most and I hope the developers eventually fix it because this game is really freaking cool, it looks amazing but thats where the good things end I'd wait and let this game sit in the over for a little longer but keep your eyes peeled on it if you are into scp type stuff apparently 1.0 is somewhere around the corner so i hope that fixes things
SCP: 5K is a whole lot different from what you'd see coming from Containment Breach, Secret Lab or even Nine-Tailed Fox. Fighting your way through a facility gathering intel to discover a truly horrific bigger picture, sidestepping expectations of a one striving to "Secure. Contain. Protect." I'll skip over anything performance related due to the fact that my computer is on the higher end, but for those with one similar; game runs great on Ultra WITHOUT UPSCALING!
The Good!
While, at times, an incredibly unforgiving game, SCP 5K manages to balance punishing death and losing progress quite nicely. Get careless, and suddenly you've lost the last 10–20 minutes of progress. Which, in my opinion is a good balance to keep you on your toes and keep you from going Rambo all over the place. (Well, it's definitely doable, if you get the guns down.) Speaking of the guns; they feel INCREDIBLE. You actually feel like you're dragging a heavy weapon across your shoulder and shooting feels super solid. Landing good shots feels rewarding as enemies will drop dead with a single good shot. The variety of weapons is also really nice, and the customisation definitely scratches the "tacticool" itch. Don't stand too close to your teammate with an M1014 though; seems like I've been disorienting a good friend of mine going ham on the trigger.
The Less Good
While all of the above is pretty awesome, the game definitely isn't perfect either. To be expected given it's still in Alpha Testing, and the team working on it has been doing an incredible job, but some things do definitely take some getting used to or you should keep in mind. My biggest two peeves; movement and player guidance. While movement in most parts of the game is incredibly smooth, sometimes it gets a little unintuitive with leaning and small edges you easily get stuck on. Invisible walls here and there that don't really make sense often, or something you should definitely be able to jump on just... Not being "jump-on-able." Player guidance, however, definitely gets on my nerves at times. The amount of times we've asked ourselves "Where the ♥♥♥♥ do we go" or spent aimlessly running around entire levels for up to 10 minutes trying to find a tiny switch, or even going as far to thinking we're in a bugged area because of how unclear progression was at times, which is especially problematic during high intensity situations (Looking at you, Ghosts of the South Gate. INTENSELY.) Then there's also a tiny few nit-picky ones that aren't such a big deal, but ammo is... Painful at times. As far as we could tell, there's no separate ammo types; pick up a box, it'll add a mag to your currently equipped weapon. A little odd, but not an issue. BUT! If you die and respawn, those mags will be GONE. You cannot get them back from your body, and you are left with a single magazine. Better hope you left some ammo laying around. The in game voice chat is also a little finicky at times. Sometimes you won't be able to hear each other even though you're standing right around a corner (Close enough to see the barrel of the weapon poking out), or through a fence. Also, the lack of radio for long distance communication is a little disappointing.
All in all...
Despite that, I would absolutely recommend SCP: 5K, both to enjoyers of the Mobile Task Force part of the SCP universe, enjoyers of tacticoolness and survival shooters in general. The maps are massive and can take hours to complete. Really looking forward to where this game will go. Devs are doing an awesome job at it!

업데이트 될수록 재밌고 기대되는 게임 SCP 광팬으로써 많은 아이들이 나오길 존버..
I saw a negative review mentioning how this game, in short, was too linear of a zombie looter. I would make the strong argument that this game suffers from not being linear enough. This game has strongly mistaken set pieces for setting, has mistaken tactical gunplay for gameplay and it has mistaken fetch quests for plot. It just doesn't know what the ♥♥♥♥ it wants to be, I'm not sorry, you have had YEARS to figure out what exact game you want, and it's JUST zombies. Well okay, maybe a left 4 dead style horde shooter then, that could totally work in the scp universe!... No, it's a spattering of zombies here, a spattering of the flesh that hates there, a spattering of crabs, one entire section devoted to just a cognitohazard, etc. Again, SET PIECES of ideas. Why can't they give us actually HORDES of enemies in a game that clearly wants to be a horde shooter? Because that'd steer away from the Tacti-COOL gameplay, ooooooh yeah!! Assault rifles, SMGs, Pistols, a shotgun, with the Acog, vertical grip, Wide-coned flashlights, Tight-coned flashlights, IR sights, laser sights, High-positioned sights, low-positioned sights, suppressors, universal compensators, special compensators, penis compensators, Weapon sway, Low-ready position, canted sights. Every weapon has a genuinely nice feel to it, the follow-up shots, the animations, the reloads, you can really tell someone thought that the DUMPSTER FIRE "Ready or Not" was just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gospel, and clearly took their philosophy of: if you have REALLY sellable 1st person gunplay mechanics and pretty animations, that it magically makes up for the fact that you're shooting Re---ds who only ever become a legitimate threat when you get sloppy, or when the game just chooses for you to die, because all of a sudden the ranged enemies choose to have sniper rifles in their back pockets. Short of that, they're just DUMB, And not "mind-controlled" Dumb, not "zombies" dumb, just uninteresting to fight dumb, "I don't believe you even belong in this universe" dumb. Getting stuck on things dumb, move 5 steps, shoot, move 5 steps, shoot, dumb. I haven't even gotten into the actual gameplay yet, but it's because there just isn't much to SAY. I'm a sucker for larger-than-life SUPER structures, especially research facilities gone wrong, And... Yes... This game IS that. But it's... Off. Portal 1 & 2, White Knuckle, Half Life, Resident Evil 2, they all have simple enemies, they all have linear gameplay, they all have Super Structures, and yet somehow with these games, I never felt "... Where the ♥♥♥♥ do I GO?" SCP5K stops being these beautifully-designed, believable set pieces of the collapsed facility, to just these big rooms artificially designed to waste your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. You know who else had big rooms like that? Left 4 Dead, but they actually REWARDED players who took the out-of-the-way path with items, and you always had a general idea if you were just messing up and going the wrong way, and in fact you were punished for it if you weren't fast enough or got split up. Hell, I wasn't even punished for lagging behind my well-trained team of goobers, they were only punished by my foolishness of not catching up to them while I'm just kickin it, and by kickin it, I mean saying "Where the ♥♥♥♥ do I GO?" Like yeah, my bad that I didn't read the teeny text in the corner of my screen that says "Do a thing" but "Do a thing" really means run around until you find this SPECIFIC dead guy like this SPECIFIC dead guy with a CLIPBOARD and that CLIPBOARD has a code and you take that code and you put it in a thing and then you move on and you... Do the same thing again and again, but ooooooo this time there's a cognito hazaaaard... Which just means this really annoying mechanic where you stare at a computer screen for too long, you die. Okay cool, but In SCP Containment breach, it was a temptation, a puzzle that you had to overcome. In this game, shoot screen, move, shoot zombie, move, find clipboard, open door, do thing. Does that sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun to you? Does that really sound like you're a specialized tactics unit designed to get to the bottom of the truth of these breached facilities, fighting for dear life with nothing but methodical, coordinated improvised tactics? No. Does it sound like a really intense, gory, resource-management horde shooter where you pick up supplies and face waves of the unknown using reaction time, Area denial, and teamwork synergy? No. You have fancy tacticool weapons with none of the tactics, You have gargantuan set pieces with dead ends and winding turns and twists, just to copy paste a code from a clipboard, while fighting like... 5 SCPs. Oh yeah that's right... This is an SCP game... With not enough SCPs. No seriously, the biggest threat in this game is 173, I am TIRED of 173. It has been over 2 decades, over 10,000, lemme say that again, TEN-THOUSAND SCPS, and we're still stuck with zombies, and a glorified weeping angel lovingly named "Peanut". If I forgot to mention the one of "many" listed in the description, it's because it wasn't memorable enough to actually affect gameplay in a game where you respawn anyway, and there's no real consequences for anything you do. What I'm trying to say, is it's SCP... Without the SCPs. So, without even getting into the BUGS and disconnection issues... Who the ♥♥♥♥ is this game made for, really? Because this game was CLEARLY not made for me.
hilariously underwhelming game. people say the gunplay is good, it is barebones although it does feel satisfying shooting. enemies are pathetic and i never once felt threatened or like I was in a dire situation. if this game wasnt branded as scp, i seriously doubt the reviews would be as positive. i only have 2.5 hours in, so maybe it gets better, but those 2.5 hours were so boring and underwhelming. it is not a good look for this game.
