Clearing out my Steam Library and noticed I got this gem when it was on sale for $2. Yeah... not sure how this at all released in the year 2014 and how it had this many people supposedly working on it. Most slop platformer I've ever played. The whole thing is 'Scooby-Doo and Looney Toons!' and you'd figure with being able to use that IP, they'd make fun move sets or just unique little things for the characters, but no, you don't even get to play as any of the characters. Instead you play some NPC ass character who the main Looney characters ignore. Controls are really clunky, can't jump right after hitting. Also no penalty for dying, so really you end up not caring if you get hurt or die and just speed thru the game. Parts of the level are pointless, not even anything good, just useless coins. I can go on and on, but needless to say this game is the definition of far below average. For $2, sure it's something, but it's not even worth the time. I will say however the Scooby-Doo portion was like a sliver better than the Looney-Toons one. Looney-Toons I had no clue what was going on in the story at first, they just kept jumping around. Kid Slop Game

Very dull game, level design is bland and the player character is barely even acknowledged in either the Looney Tunes or Scooby-Doo stories (the game also never explains how your custom Looney Tunes character got into the Scooby-Doo universe), not that either story is anything memorable to begin with The Scooby-Doo part is also basically just a glorified DLC expansion pack since the credits play after you beat all the Looney Tunes-centric levels and it only takes up a quarter of the game, this game can't even really be called a crossover because the two franchises never interact (unless you count still playing as your custom Looney Tunes character in those levels) That being said, if you can pick it up at a big discount and wanna kill some time, then I guess it's fairly harmless given you can beat it in under two hours if you're not going for 100%. Just don't expect anything special, there's significantly better games for both of the franchises represented here
i played this game for 47 minutes i got it because it was like 94 cents on sale and i was sleep deprived and alfred e neuman showed up and said "it's scoobing time" and then i went to bed

This game reminds me of the games i used to play as a kid on the gamecube and I freaking love it but their are some annoying issues first the soundtrack is annoying it plays over and over and there no way to stop playing the music seconds the controls is sloggesh it feels like the character is on the moon and thirdly it feel repetitive but forthly i love the game it reminds me of my childhood playing video games on the nintendo gamecube
Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure is a vibrant and nostalgic crossover platformer that brilliantly blends the charm and humor of two of the most beloved animated franchises. The game invites players into a whimsical world where the mystery-solving antics of Scooby-Doo meet the zany chaos of the Looney Tunes gang, creating a unique adventure that appeals to fans of all ages. Right from the start, the game sets a lighthearted and playful tone, combining classic slapstick comedy with engaging platforming and puzzle-solving elements that make for a refreshing and entertaining experience. The gameplay is structured around navigating colorful, hand-crafted levels filled with quirky enemies, hidden secrets, and character-specific abilities. Players can switch between a roster of iconic characters—such as Scooby, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and more—each offering distinct playstyles that add variety and depth. Scooby and Shaggy bring their trademark cowardice and slapstick moves, while Bugs and Daffy introduce more agile, trickster-like abilities. This character swapping mechanic is cleverly integrated into both the platforming challenges and combat, encouraging players to experiment and think creatively to overcome obstacles. The controls are smooth and responsive, striking a fine balance between accessibility for younger players and enough nuance for platformer veterans. One of the game’s standout features is its delightful level design, which captures the spirit of the cartoons with vibrant visuals, dynamic backgrounds, and animated set pieces that bring the worlds of Mystery Inc. and Looney Tunes to life. The stages range from eerie haunted mansions and spooky graveyards to bustling city streets and whimsical cartoon landscapes, each brimming with details that reward exploration. Hidden collectibles, secret paths, and mini-games pepper the environments, enhancing replayability and providing additional layers of fun for completionists. The puzzles are intuitive yet engaging, often requiring players to combine the unique skills of different characters or interact with the environment in inventive ways. The narrative is playful and light, weaving together the mysteries typical of Scooby-Doo with the slapstick humor and chaotic energy of Looney Tunes. While not overly complex, the story effectively serves as a fun backdrop that drives the action forward and gives context to the diverse cast of characters coming together. Dialogue is peppered with witty exchanges and nostalgic references, which will delight longtime fans and introduce new players to the classic personalities. The voice acting and sound design complement the visual style perfectly, capturing the essence of the original shows and enhancing the overall immersion. Multiplayer support adds another layer of enjoyment, allowing friends or family members to team up and tackle the adventure cooperatively. The drop-in, drop-out style multiplayer feels natural and encourages teamwork, as different characters’ abilities can be combined for more efficient puzzle solving and combat. This cooperative element strengthens the social appeal of the game and makes it an ideal choice for casual gaming sessions with loved ones. Despite its many strengths, Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure does have a few shortcomings. Some players may find the difficulty curve relatively gentle, which could reduce the challenge for seasoned platformer fans looking for more intense gameplay. Additionally, while the game’s humor and references are enjoyable, a deeper or more complex story might have enriched the overall experience. Occasional camera angles and minor platforming quirks can also interrupt the flow but are infrequent enough not to detract significantly from the fun. Overall, Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure is a charming and well-crafted crossover that successfully captures the spirit of two iconic franchises in a lively, engaging platformer. Its blend of humor, colorful environments, and character-driven gameplay makes it a joyous experience for both younger audiences and nostalgic adults. Whether you’re a fan of mystery-solving antics or slapstick cartoon chaos, this game offers a heartwarming and entertaining journey that celebrates the best of both worlds with creativity and affection. It’s a delightful reminder of why these timeless characters continue to captivate audiences across generations. Rating: 6/10
