SCHOLA SPIRITUS

It is an RPG maker game, so the fight system comes from that, but it forgets to explain much about it, so if this is your first game in this style, you should check out the rules and nuances from a guide or something, like the "heating" system. The story itself is slow-burning, and only after an hour does it start to become clear that this is a 90s-style teen horror RPG where you need to defeat evil spirits. All in all, I like the visuals, but the rest is somewhat mediocre. I wish it were somewhat tighter. Exploring is not satisfying. It forces you into a maze-like dungeon that repeats itself, so it becomes frustrating after a while. And the means to enter a door sometimes does not register, or do we have to try the door handle part and not the door itself? It is weird. But hey, it is just a first try of a dev. It won't change the world. I wish the best for their next game!
