Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Extremely unique. It's as if this game's a form of dance. I loved the original, and I'm grateful that they gave us this one gratis. That game was quite enjoyable in a "be reminded of it, return to it again and again" kind of way, but its Endless mode, replaced by Survival in this one, ended up just being a gradual progression of difficulty. Its level background changing color from crimson to black as the situation got more serious was cool, but the gameplay ended up creating a meta of either spamming a temporary-invulnerability jump-and-chain-grab gimmick, or trying to shoot down the ever-increasing enemies and wurms according to one's skill. It ended up being more tedious than enjoyable once you'd played enough. They more than fixed that here. Survival mode creates a situation where those who last are rewarded with a harsh yet non-gimmicky end state: "This Ends Now!" For me, that's where I find the real enjoyment I'd missed in the original. In terms of keeping with the original's mechanics, there are two modes, "Classic" and "Remix," but both represent a deviation. I can understand why some would dislike not keeping with the original 100% (at least in Classic), but in my estimation what the devs came up with here far exceeds the sum of its parts. They aced making this game feature genuine difficulty and a strong reward for pulling through. Its value is completely underrated seeing that they kept most of the original's charm too.
While Savant: Ascent was already an intriguing game, this remaster greatly improves on the flaws of the original. The gameplay feels better, smoother, and also comes equipped with different difficulty modes this time around. Several other things such as sound effects, enemies and the soundtrack were improved on, too. I had fun with this just for liking Savant's music, even though I usually don't touch this genre of game. Its short length is yet another positive, encouraging you to grind for high scores and adding some replayability value.
thank you for randomized survival mode. literally peak
I originally recieved this game for free, having owned the original version. But with the fun ive had playing this whenever I had the craving for it or just felt bored, I would be inclined to buy a physical version or even a vinyl of the Soundtrack just to showcase my love for this passion project put out by Aleksander Vinter & the people at D-Pad Studio. I will often boot this up as a great warm-up to train my eyes and ears before playing any games with PvP, its fast paced, forces your brain to pay attention and get in full throttle. Both Hardcore & survival are equally fun and challenging without crossing the line into ragequit territory, in fact, every time I die, I take a step back and try to learn from my mistakes, then hit retry. I will always take the opportunity to reccomend my friends this game as it deserves all the love
This game is great. Reaction timing and twin stick shooting limited by rigid movement design that still leaves you feeling like mistakes are your own fault. The main character feels like a badass and the enemy boss designs are neat. I especially love the "show the story" mentality as opposed to having the main character monologue everything out. A great pick up and play game with great options for modes to just JUMP IN once your done with the story.
