About
Sapo 3D is a classic 3D collect-a-thon platformer with linear levels, designed to be a short and fun experience with a gentle learning curve. Explore four different worlds while collecting golden flies to advance and face the final challenge, which lies behind the gigantic gate!

Help the little frog reach the end of the level and collect lots of golden flies. This way, he can open the portal to the next level, where he'll find more challenges and golden flies to catch!

Face seed-spitting plants, explosive-egg-throwing chickens, giant-axe-wielding ladybugs, soda cannons, and even space missiles. Each world presents unique challenges!

The frog's control scheme is simple and easy to learn, but becomes more complex through interaction with powerups and objects in the environment. Use everything from jars that give you triple jumps to anti-gravity bubbles in space!

Open the giant gate in the main area when you've collected enough flies and discover its secret. Be prepared for the final challenge!
And that's not all! After beating the game, you can also enjoy:
Speedrun Mode
Extra Stages

It's fine. It's a perfectly serviceable game. If you look at the screenshots and think you'll enjoy the game, you will. The game is like an underachiever. You get exactly what you expect and not a bit more. It never tries to go from good to great. It never goes above the minimum of what's expected of it. It hits the bar and gives up. It feels unpolished and it's honestly sad to see. The platforming is ok. The biggest problem with it is the camera. The camera is terrible. The entire game is a prolonged boss fight with it. The menus are terribly designed. There is not a single word of text on all of the menus. You have to decipher glyphs to figure out what buttons do. Trial and error should be a game-play thing, not something required to change the settings in the game. Perhaps it was done this way to not have to translate the game into multiple languages. That feels incredibly lazy if it's the true cause of this horrendous decision. The music is lame. There's no contextualization for what's going on. No story, no reason to do anything. No motivating force. It's just a world with videogame assets assembled into levels. How bland. This has got to be the laziest implementation of controller rumbled I've seen in my life. The controller rumbles under exactly one circumstance. It only rumbles on death and it does so at max frequency for a second and that's it. Why even bother to program in controller rumble if this is all that it was going to be used for? Like I said at the start if you think you'll enjoy this game, you will. Just don't expect much.
Sapo 3D is what I consider a hidden gem. Is it the best game in the world? No. Is it a little short? Maybe. But for just $2.99 at full price, Sapo 3D punches well above its weight class in both value and gameplay. The most important thing to me in a 3D platformer is how it feels to play. The controls need to be tight, responsive, and satisfying. Sapo 3D absolutely nails this. Movement feels great, and every success or failure felt earned. The game features some genuinely tricky platforming challenges, but whenever I missed a jump or died, it was because of my own mistakes. Not because the controls let me down. There is no story in Sapo, but I found that refreshing. When I picked up Sapo, I had just finished a narrative-heavy game (Enslaved: Odyssey to the West) and Sapo 3D was the perfect palate cleanser. It's easy to pick up, fun to play, and focuses entirely on solid platforming gameplay. My first playthrough took about two hours to complete, which I felt was well worth the asking price. Completionists will likely get even more time out of it, and there's also a dedicated Speedrun Mode that I didn't spend much time with. Even so, it's easy to see the appeal. The game's movement and level design seem perfectly suited for speedrunning, and I wouldn't be surprised if it has a small, but passionate community built around it. Overall, I had a great time with Sapo 3D. It's a charming, well-made platformer that offers far more than its price tag suggests. If you have even a mild interest in 3D platformers, I'd recommend giving it a shot. At time of writing, it is a hidden gem.
So base game is about 40 mins long, the four hardcore levels add an hour or two simply because of how bad they are. The game is ugly with the environment being a huge issue, blocks floting in space always makes it hard to tell where things are and is just ugly. Main game is fine but largely uninteresting and the extra levels are really poorly designed, the moon is especially bad with a section that requires a very tight timer that requires you timing something correctly that is 10 ish seconds away, messing up means death. Overall it just really unpolished but has promise is cleaned up.
оч приятный платформер за копейки топ 2 лягушка по крутости,топ 1 из Death’s Door’a sorry

Really nice little game your can finish in an hour or two So here's a little story: A friend gifted me this game and mentioned they wanted to watch me play, I started raising an eyebrow there, when I looked at the game in the store it looked really cute but there were some screenshots where the scene was dark and gloomy, so I was fully expecting the game to turn horror-y dark and twisted halfway through. I was a bit on the edge the whole time, expecting a jumpscare, but at the same time I started paying attention to everything around and got impressed. I really liked the pixel art, love how the pixel size is consistent throughout the whole game, really well made textures, just nice to look at Really appreciate the level design, except for that part with the balloons, every level was neatly crafted and the tutorials felt nice, it was satisfying to move around and pull off the big jumps Overall I had a good time, short and fun, the levels gave me Mario Galaxy vibes and I mean it as a high compliment I'm also really glad that at the end it was just a honest and really nice platformer and had nothing to do with horror, but I did lose a bet for expecting the horror shift halfway through
I put more hours then I should have into Sapo... Good game.
Chill platformer, it's not the greatest but honestly what can you ask for just a couple dollars.
Good game overall, but some frustrating aspects: -The menu uses glyphs instead of text, making it difficult to figure out what options you are changing. -Especially in the space levels, falling into the void is annoying as there is no quick kill/reset button. This here is the cherry on top and what almost pushed me to giving a thumbs down: I think I had about 80 and 20 deaths in the forest and space hardcore levels, respectively, due to the "randomness" of your speed when jumping off the platforms. Sometimes I can clear the gaps easily with an additional jump to spare, while other times I fall short after using all jumps. You don't notice this in the pre-boss levels since all the jumps are easy. I later found a consistent method to get high speed: stop moving, dash for 3-4 steps, jump.
