About
Welcome to SAND: Raiders of Sophie. Pilot your custom built war machines across the dunes of a fallen planet, battle rival players, scavenge for loot, weapons, ammo and resources, survive and extract with your spoils in a massive procedurally generated world.
Out here on Sophie, a raider is only as strong as their Trampler. Fully customizable, gigantic walking mechs that shield you from the elements, defend you and your loot from rival scavengers and rain destruction on anything that obstructs your pursuit of becoming the most notorious raider upon the dunes!
Design a modular trampler where your creativity and will to succeed is your only limit.
Build an impenetrable fortress that can weather the deadliest of assaults, a walking war machine stacked with mounted turrets and firepower, something small and stealthy to get you out of trouble as quickly as you get into it or a chaotic jumble of modules to confuse and disorient your enemies.
No matter your playstyle, you can design a trampler to support it.
Get your crew together, or go solo as you embark on expeditions. Deploy into the world, chart your course, and scavenge cities, ruins, shipwrecks and other remnants of a fallen world for loot. Survive encounters with the mysterious supernatural Upiors, fight or talk your way out of confrontations with other players, locate your extract point and escape to the safety of the orbital station with your loot, life and Trampler intact.
Smoke on the horizon, the groans of the undead echoing through the cities, and the distant rumble of sand all signal danger. Every city looted, shipwreck scoured or ill-timed encounter with other scavengers might just be your last, so keep your wits about you.
There are no friends on Sophie, the only ones you can trust are you and yours.
Design your Tramplers from scratch in the Trampler Editor before deploying into the world. Test your builds and scavenge lower-tier items at your own pace in Voyage Mode, or raise the stakes in Storm Dive for higher-tier loot and greater rewards, where as sandstorms slowly engulf the region, the risk of confrontations with other scavengers and the loss of your hard earned loot increases.

After 30 hours, I can confidently say this game has a big future IF it is done right. All the people saying this game is full of hackers, bugs, or whatever are honestly exaggerating. Now yes, there are bugs, and yes, there are hackers, but that is literally every online game. The bugs are honestly very minor and nothing to cry about. The biggest bug I have personally experienced is randomly losing connection mid-game, but you can just join back and be perfectly fine (unless you were in the middle of a fight, ofc because that would suck lol). I also haven't run into any cheaters yet, but coming from Star Citizen, these bugs are nothing. IYKYK. The game is literally only 5 updates in, and even after only 5 updates, the developers have already fixed the major anti-cheat problems and a lot of the bugs. If you are avoiding this game purely because of bugs, hackers, the game being bland, or there not being much to do, don't. As stated above, the game is still extremely early in development, and all of that will change over time. Looking at the roadmap for the next 5 months, they are planning to add: New trampler compartments New enemy NPCs Post-game summaries Player stats (KD, kills, etc. which everyone loves flexing) Gear-based matchmaking (which is really good and should help keep the player base healthy) More weather and natural hazards (making the world feel less empty) Menu crafting system World bosses New POIs (more to do/explore) More characters And much more As for optimization, it is definitely not the best right now. On medium settings, I get around 80-120 FPS, and on high settings with everything maxed, I get around 10-30 FPS. (PC specs are in my review.) That being said, optimization will get better over time, so it isn't something I would worry too much about right now, but it is definitely something to keep in mind. The game also doesn't fully explain what to do when you first start, but if you have played any extraction game before, or even just a survival game, you will pick it up very quickly. The skill floor is fairly low, which is great for new players, but the skill ceiling is also quite high. The games a mix between ARC Raiders, Sea of Thieves, and Tarkov. One thing I really hope they add is some sort of customization, like weapon skins, cannon skins, or other cosmetics that you can unlock through quests or achievements. For example, getting 10,000 kills with a shotgun could unlock a special skin. I also wouldn't mind them adding a cosmetic shop where you can buy skins with real money. I don't encourage this at all if it affects gameplay, but a purely cosmetic system would give players their own individuality in game. This could also help keep players around for longer and bring in some players. To sum it all up, don't listen to all the waffle reviews (even mine lol). If you genuinely want to try the game, give it a chance with an open mind. The game is still very early, and judging it like it is a fully finished game is unfair. It already has a really good foundation, and if the developers keep doing what they are doing, I genuinely think this game has a big future. :)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.43/day in the week to Aug 19 → 26.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun.
Wish I could love this game. Everything is there apart from teaming in EVERY SINGLE MATCH. It's going to ruin the game if they don't find a way to stop it.
Game has a lot of potential for sure, really fun combat and love the cannon fighting and trampler movement. However, bugs and cheats are killing my motivation to play it. Cheating has improved somewhat since you can't take over tramplers, but 3 times now I've jumped in to rush a fort and craft some scoped guns, and 3 times the workbench hasn't worked. Once I managed to escape out, but the other 2 times I was ran down in a small trampler and lost all my material I needed for crafting. It's fun, but it really knocks the wind out of your sails when the game just bugs out. Same applies to the coloured key doors. I've also on multiple occasions DC'd when extracting, only to find it hasn't extracted any of my loot. Losing the cannons etc that I brought into the raid as well, some serious quality of life improvements are needed before this can reach it's potential.
This game is amazing at ragebaiting you, the rapport system doesnt work 50% of the time, the grind is amazing at wasting your time, the cheating issue that was on its early access release was amazing at how awfull it was, like how do you release a game without anti cheat. the solos are amazing at making you feel like this game doesnt care about their playersat all since you got the chinese squads queueing solos and flooding as a trio train and then extract camping for your loot. I wonder how many months this game will survive but currently it contending Dark and darkers spot of hall of fame of not having devs able to make a backpack system in 2026 and their players are doing this is fine meme whilst the game is burning to the ground seriously how do you ♥♥♥♥ up so bad releaseing a game Gameplay is fun tho when you dont have to bother with all that ♥♥♥♥ thats related to how the devs and players treat this game!
JOGO MUITO BOM.
game full of cheater and bugs
The players are so toxic, especially in solo. I played solo today, and at the end I ran into three ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ camping the extraction and teaming up in a solo game. What am I supposed to do in a situation like this? There’s no other extraction, and these idiots are teaming up in a solo match. There’s literally nothing I can do. What’s even the point of playing solo if people can just team up like this?
yes i would but MERGE SERVERS!!! central has died and im sure other regions have aswell. i had to switch to west just to get into games. thank you
Very cluncky movemnt you get stuck most of the time just by walking through the citys and intirior, today i also incounterd a cheater. The game it self is good but its almost like i just got an alpha relase so idk how we are on patch #8 and still got these major issuis, i like the game idea i will keep playing but for now i would wait till the game settels in a direction and gets polished up alot there is like i mentioned cluicky movments rubberbanding esp. going up spiral stairs.
