Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What an awful game. It is obvious that the devs of this game didn't even bother to make sure the game was playable solo. The game very quickly forces you to defend multiple locations at the same time, and it does not care if you are playing solo. The game barely gives you any money to place towers or upgrade them. At most you'll only place down a few towers because that is all you can do. It is nothing like the trailers. You don't get nearly enough money to make a path for the enemies to follow because at most you'll place a few towers down over the entire course of a single mission because you get barely get any money. Your weapons are weak as well and take so long to reload for no reason. Enemies instantly hit you which feels unfair. Towers are also weak and have such awful ranges. The gatling gun for example can barely shoot 3 feet in front of it. Awful, awful game. Do not buy unless you will be playing with friends.
Fun game. I love the fact that Coffee Stains just takes a concept and takes their time to do it well, regardless of the genre. I picked it up in sale and it's 100% worth a shot. 8/10 I have some minor feedback that I hope might help for a next installment: - Some levels were way too easy, the switch to swamp felt like we suddenly went to easy mode. The same can be said for the overview. I felt the devs tried to do something other than the levels before (which is fine) but it didn't pan out well. The levels were weird and messy and the compensation in the form of less enemies made them easy as a result. - Although units are visually different they are quite similar in terms of color. Some contrast to help distinguish units in the crowd would be nice. - Why the F*CK would you include player damage on building things in build mode? It's one of the weirder things I've seen in any game. It makes no sense and it doesn't add anything. - Player damage feels a bit on the weak side compared to turrets. I think building should be key, but maybe make player damage a bit higher and include a bit more enemies so you can go ham during a wave. - You can finish the game before unlocking the stronger turrets, that's a bit of a waste.
GOOD!
"Sanctum 2" is an innovative blend of tower defence and first-person shooter genres that stands out for its engaging gameplay and strategic depth. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios, the game builds on the success of its predecessor by introducing more robust and intricate mechanics, enhancing both the defensive and combat aspects of the game. The core of "Sanctum 2" lies in its cooperative gameplay, which supports up to four players. Players must defend their power cores from waves of incoming enemies by building defensive structures and directly engaging foes in shooter combat. The combination of planning and action provides a dynamic challenge that requires strategic thinking and quick reflexes. Graphically, the game presents a clean and colourful aesthetic that is both visually appealing and functional, with clear indications of enemy paths and tower effectiveness. The diverse enemy types and their unique strengths and weaknesses add to the strategic layer, compelling players to consider tower placement and selection carefully. Character customization is another strength of "Sanctum 2." Players can choose from several characters with unique abilities and weapons, allowing for varied play styles and team compositions. This variability extends the game's replayability and keeps the gameplay fresh across multiple sessions. While not the main focus, the storyline provides enough context to give meaning to the missions, adding a layer of immersion to the experience. The sound design and music are effectively tailored, enhancing the intensity and pace of the gameplay. Overall, Sanctum 2 is a compelling game that successfully marries its genre elements to create a unique and enjoyable gaming experience. Its challenges are well-balanced to cater to both newcomers and veteran gamers, making it a recommended pick for those looking for something different in cooperative gameplay.
first few levels are weak and the soundtrack isnt amazing but the weapons, turrets, perks levelling and later levels themselves are awesome. Game is a deal for $12CAD and I feel like I'm personally robbing Coffee Stain for the $3 sale. Levels are usually empty and grid based with you choosing where to place walls to create the most efficient turret defense. Animations and sounds are exactly what you would expect from a budget title from 2013, reminiscent of the xbox arcade on the 360 and pretty stiff. You pick 1 of 4 characters, each with their own passives and then 1 weapon to add as a secondary for your characters locked in primary (Secondary can be other characters primary), then 4 turrets to bring in with you. Loadouts are then further augmented with perks that can be minor buffs or game changing additions. Get it if you like tower defense at all
I used to play this a long time ago, good to see its still fun.
As one of four distinct character classes, I find myself on a crucial mission defending the life-sustaining Cores from relentless alien invaders. The customization options are endless, allowing me to tailor my character to my playstyle, ensuring I'm fully prepared for the impending battles. The gameplay is diverse and engaging. During the building phase, I strategize and construct intricate mazes, positioning powerful towers to thwart the enemy's advance. But there's no sitting idly by; I dive into the fray myself, immersing into intense FPS action, blasting enemies to pieces. It's exhilarating to experience the thrill of combat firsthand. Solo campaign offers a captivating journey, uncovering the mysteries of planet LOEK III and the aliens' motive for destroying the Cores. Alternatively, I team up with up to three friends in cooperative mode, fostering camaraderie and coordination to overcome the alien onslaught. With each victory, the progression system rewards me with new weapons, towers, and perks. It's satisfying to witness my rank climb higher and unlock more potent tools for the ultimate showdown against the alien menace. Beyond the gripping gameplay, I find myself intrigued by the in-game Visual Novel, providing comic-book pages that unveil the hidden secrets of LOEK III, adding a layer of narrative depth to the experience. It is truly unique, standing tall as the only FPS/Tower Defense fusion that captivates players with its ingenious combination of genres. I'm thoroughly engrossed in this extraordinary world, where strategy meets action, and I'm humanity's last hope against the alien onslaught. As I continue my journey, I can't help but marvel at how seamlessly this game melds Tower Defense and First-Person Shooter elements, setting it apart from any other title out there.
