Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 13.29/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This feels like the perfect example of when someone calls something a 7/10 game in a complimentary fashion. It's almost always applied to something that's got a decent amount of flaws but still compels me to keep playing despite that. For an action game, Sanabi is almost swollen with cut scenes, and commits the egregious sin of not letting you pause during any of them. I don't fundamentally dislike the story, but there's more here than you might expect from all the promotional material that makes it look like non-stop action. And maybe that would have been helped if they iterated on some of the mechanics a little longer. It felt like a new concept got introduced, you maybe spent a few minutes getting used to it, then it was on to another long story section and a brand new mechanic. As a result I don't think I really developed much of a flow with this game until the final hours. The only beef I really have with the controls is how the grappling hook is aimed. At least on the controller (I found the mouse controls unintuitive for this sort of action) the left stick controls both movement and aiming, and occasionally this got me killed when I needed to maneuver one way and shoot in a different way. We've had twin stick shooters for decades, so this choice seems odd. The right stick is given over to a slow motion aiming that both didn't work very well and wasn't particularly integrated into the games other systems. It wasn't a deal breaker, and I got decent at handling it by the end, but I can't imagine how smoothly I could have moved around with a better implementation. There are really only two flavors in this game: zipping around and drama. I feel like the drama in this is going to be much more divisive, but I found it compelling enough to get me through some of the more annoying moments of the gameplay. There are twists, and to some extent the plot is built around uncovering those revelations. Some of them surprised me, but there one central to the story that's so obvious that one of the characters spends time lamp-shading to try and make it feel less obvious when it's finally revealed. I found most of it satisfying, but I think you'll know where you stand on the matter within Steam's refund window. One of the things I do find interesting about the narrative is it's one of the rare cases where the creators actually seem to be almost satirizing the way fridging is overused in video games as a motivation. They flat-out state that using the main character's dead wife as a motivator didn't work, because he got over it because he still had a daughter to care for, so they had to twist his memories so he thought his daughter died. It's the sort of craven manipulation that you can practically hear a screen writer debating on including. The parts don't always fit together well in Sanabi, but I don't regret playing it.
