Life is a comedy indeed. This VN has a solid story despite the exaggerated repetitive h-scenes, something about the plot twist and portrayal of irony resonated with me more than expected. The theatrical narration provides the story with a dramatic captivating mood and supports the medieval setting. I enjoyed the writing of the pivotal characters (especially the protagonist) however in my opinion most side characters were handled rather poorly, to the point I couldn't take them seriously. Besides that, I found the writing quite good, in particular when it delves into the protagonist's mind, as well as the plot twist and end part in general. The story deals with interesting concepts by combining theatre and reality, and I found the general plot entertaining to follow; Additionally, the art and music are awesome! While I believe that some aspects could've been handled differently, I enjoyed the experience as a whole.

Для игры требуется скачать патч. Salthe — очень хорошая Eroge визуальная новелла, главной фишкой которой является довольно крепкий и хороший сюжет. Не понимаю, почему ей рисуют тэги Dark и Drama, если правильней будет трагикомедия. Элементы, безусловно, в ней есть, но ей ой как далеко до действительно «Dark» темы. В ней есть вступительный ролик с настоящей вступительной песней, как и эндинг с отличной музыкой. Тут, к слову, прекрасная музыкальная подборка. Визуальное оформление выглядит довольно хорошо, в игре (а она относительно короткая, часов на 7) достаточно много CG-изображений, и они хорошо сделаны. Что касается сексуальной части — сцен для игры достаточно много (22, если быть точным). Игра полностью озвучена. Сцены хентая в значительной степени связаны с изнасилованием, и все концовки (даже «хорошая») включают физическое насилие в виде пыток. Изображения содержат кровь, но не такие жестокие, гуро моментов нету. По сюжету углубляться не хочется, так как без спойлеров сложно, а в данной новелле сюжет основа. Признаюсь, меня зацепил неожиданный поворот в конце. Но только потому, что я был уверен, что сценарист бездарен, ибо я уже подумал, что всё понял, но обманка прямо перед настоящим поворотом сюжета была настоящей. Каламбур, но это похвально... и это всё равно лучшая история любви, чем «Сумерки». Хорошая история, если вы хотите задуматься о том, что никто никогда не бывает по-настоящему добрым или злым, или если вы хотите понять: «Жизнь — трагедия, если смотреть на неё вблизи, но комедия, если смотреть издалека».

I didn't make it far.... I don't know exactly if this vn was heading in this direction but.... I had to quit the game after the introduction of Vanilla the puppy dog. I can read hardcore messed up adult novels, but innocent animals are a hard no for me. Again I stopped reading after vanilla was mentioned so I don't know if that's exactly the route it was taking but I'm not sticking around to find out. Suggestions for people looking for dark adult games: Heart cage (otome), Love Lock, The Price of Flesh, YKMET: STRADE.

Невыносимо обидно, что весьма сильная история оказалась абсолютно проёбана из - за бездаря на сценаристе: из-за жестокости ради жестокости, и сюжетного плот-твиста ради плот-твиста.

Don't listen to anyone who thinks this is a good game. I bought it because the concept interested me, little did I know it was just a big excuse for a rape fest. That's basically all this game is. They wasted a good plot on some sick fantasy, and I've never felt as disgusted playing a game ever. Even Euphoria was better than this. Don't waste your little amount of time or money. Unless you're a freak (Derogatory)
