About
An exciting adventure game that combines elements of searching, fishing, and mystery-solving. You play as an adventurer who must help his friend look for his missing father. The game takes place on an archipelago once claimed by the pirates, and every island has its own story and its own mystery.
Travel the archipelago, exploring the islands, caves, and shipwrecks. Every object has a unique story and might lead to precious artifacts or solutions to various mysteries.
Fishing is one of the key gameplay elements. Apart from classic fishing, players may seek underwater treasure and ancient relics. Every fish has its own habitat. Once a certain kind of fish has been caught, its zone will be marked on your map.
The game's protagonist is helping his friend search for his father. However, the plot is a lot more complicated than it may seem at first. You will meet many unusual characters and experience an intriguing story full of twists and turns.

Reviews
This game is basically a cheap Dredge rip-off, but without the Lovecraftian spin and without any of the charm Dredge has. The fishing minigame isn't terrible, but really basic, with zero variation. The characters are uninteresting. And the quests are just boring fetch quests. Refunded. Rating: ★★☆☆☆
Sailing The Winds is a very poorly made "job simulator", if you think about the kind of gameplay you get from games like Stardew Valley where you reveal a narrative through various minigames, except this game just has one activity, fishing. Except done really badly. And don't get me wrong, there's a market for these kinds of games... Stardew Valley itself was tremendously successful, and it was made with pixelcrap. That's like winning the olympics blindfolded and with both hands tied behind your back. If you're going to get lazy and phone in the most important aspect of the game, the visuals, you better have damn amazing gameplay going on. This game does not have damn amazing gameplay going on. There's an overwhelming amount of mediocre Visual Novel/E-book style cutscenes in this game. The developers failed one of the most basic, fundamental requirements of game design.. "Show, don't tell." So you'll spend a huge amount of time not playing the game, but clicking through endless lines of poorly written VN text cutscenes because the developers couldn't work out how to relate their narrative through the game mechanics, and decided instead it would be better to compete with reading a book for your time. We're here to play games, not read through hours of garbage intersituals. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. It's unclear if these are flipped assets, the quality is just so low across every aspect of this game. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 130,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 130,000+ games on Steam? Sailing The Winds has the laughable, eye-watering price of around $6 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $6 asking price for this game could get you games like "Metro Exodus", "Disco Elysium" or "Mirror's Edge". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Casual, relaxing open world adventure with elements of a fishing simulator. Explore the archipelago, complete quests, catch fish, search for treasures and upgrade your boat/equipment. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/SOUdp4UymdE You have a boat, fishing gear, inventory, map and quest log. The main goal is to help your friend find his missing father. There are also various side quests and secrets. Catching fish is very simple. Just cast your fishing line, wait a bit, and when the fish starts biting, press E, and then use A or D to keep the gauge in the middle of the scale while your character pulls the catch out of the water. When you fish, you can catch not only fish, you can get various things. When you buy special equipment, you will be able to pick up large objects from the seabed. + Suitable for people of all ages. + Nice graphics. + Good optimization. + Simple, relaxing gameplay. + Convenient controls. + Change of weather and time of day. + Secrets and treasures.

Yes.
