Sad City 42 is a poorly translated Russian visual novel. It's short, the hand drawn graphics are mediocre, but it's the translation that really kills it. In this case I feel a little bad for the developer because at least the game comes across as if they put in a genuine effort. On the other hand, even at best this is a bad entry in a genre that's typically lacklustre at best, and doesn't have any merit to stand on that I could recommend it for.
