Experienced on the Oculus Rift
This is an approximately 16 minute long music video experience for VR with no interactions & gaze-based navigation in the menu. The music itself is nice. However, although the journey and visuals start out okay, it soon devolves into all the cardinal sins one can commit in VR. The latter half of the journey is basically a techni-color warped laser gauntlet for your retinas. I only managed to survive with my vision still in check by closing one eye. When I kept both eyes open, the whole visual area became an out-of-focus saturation of colors beaming into my consciousness with an intentional fish-bowl effect. I imagine this is how we will torture people in the future only instead of this music, it will be Kid Rock's Greatest hits you'll be listening to. Rate 4/10. Worst of all, there was no woman saying "i love you, I yearn to you .... desire you, come unto me, come unto me, come unto me," even though that's featured on the store page video.

It started out ok but once you get into darker part of the cave it gets all blurry. Its hard to describe the blurriness but its kind of like looking through a windshield when rain is pouring on it. Then it got even worse when you get out of the cave into the purple ocean. My eyes and brain couldn't take it. I had to stop the demo. I would have recommended it before all the blurry stuff.
A+ for Aesthetic af! This is a Vaporwave hidden gem and one of the best trippy experiences available.
This is a short 15 min experience. There is no controller function, the main menu has you using "your third eye" to either start the full experience or quit. I recommend sitting down for this one, you'll be floating on rails throughout the entire game (standing made me nauseous). The music is fantastic, psychedelic ambient trance type goes good with the visuals and environments. The environments are nice enough, wasn't expecting much from a free game. The visuals can get rather intense after you enter the shroom cave. The visuals start off very minimal, very reminiscent to screen tearing. Over time the 'screen tearing lines' get more intense and eventually turn into this blurry wavyness, then after that it looks like wavy glass with glowing colors and flying 3d models/objects. I can see some people getting ill from these blur-like visuals but I was able to handle it just fine. If anybody likes psychedelic VR experiences then this may interest you, check it out, it's free anyway.
Dudes are out here like "waah waah it's blurry waah" but it's nowhere near as bad as they make it out to be, if anything it adds to the experience rather than taking away from it. This is well made tribute to the art style seen throughout the vaporwave scene, like it literally felt like I was walking through the album covers of some of my favorite artists. A must play for anyone that's into vaporwave.
Wow! Was ein Trip. Danke dafür!!! Punkte 8,5/10
