BUS SIMULATOR

"BUS SIMULATOR" is a pointless "art" tech demo/joke game... a VR low poly "bus simulator", but no, you don't drive a bus, you just sit on a low poly minimalist bus in VR and put up with annoying commuters. I'm not sure what the point of this is, perhaps the developers were hoping it would go viral because... uh... bus passengers can be annoying therefore the developer will get famous? What do you do in the game? Nothing, just sit on a bus in VR. This game features very lacklustre minimalist low poly "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Eloignez les personnes qui ont encore une âme : il faut avoir le cœur bien accroché pour ce jeu… qui est plutôt une abomination. Mes nerfs n’ont tenu que 7 mn 42. Je suis sûr qu’à 7mn 43, une horreur m’aurait sauté dessus toutes dents dehors. Toute ma vie j’ai été militaire, souvent sur des terrains difficiles ; j’en ai vu des horreurs. Mais là, ce « jeu » est plus gore qu’un charnier laissé en plein soleil pendant des mois… Cette création effroyable n’a pu sortir que d’esprits atteints du dernier degré de folie ! J’ai désinstallé ce résidu de l’enfer et j’espère qu’un jour, je pourrai de nouveau dormir les yeux fermés O_O

Wow, now this was a ride. (Experienced on Oculus Link using oculus controllers (actually, does that matter? you really don't use it)) It's just a little game about you sitting on a bus, doing your thing: being bored, and well... looking at certain things. Seriously, the dude was naked on the bus? I like how it changes things up a little bit, and instead of using your controller to do stuff, you look at stuff. And, that ending kinda looked beautiful instead of off-putting (ignoring the i don't know how many purple heads looking at you). Overall, they seemed to work hard on this, and they made it work, and not be crappy. Thanks, not fun games for being fun (you heard that joke a million times i bet)! 8/10

Bu deneyimi sevdim! Bir şekilde bana gerçek toplu taşıma deneyimlerini hatırlattı ama aynı zamanda tamamen fantastikti. Hem gülüyordum, hem de benzersiz bir şekilde rahatsız oluyordum. İyi iş Eğlenceli Değil Oyunlar! Bundan sonra ne ortaya koyacağınızı görmek için sabırsızlanıyorum.
