A short psychological horror game, where you attempt to gain root access into an unethical superstructure.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 8.71/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"s.p.l.i.t" is a short narrative driven horror game, with a focus on raw terminal hacking using various commands.
Throughout the game, you chat with your fellow technicians in order to plan and execute a malware attack. Regardless of the outcome, your story won't be told for decades.
Will you hold up your end?
First person gameplay with diegetic & immersive UI.
An IRC chat where you gain intel, and learn more about the facility.
A terminal where you run software, navigate directories, and execute commands.
Detailed command prompt hacking puzzles with an emphasis on traditional inputs.
Original soundtrack.
The facility you and your crew infiltrate is a superstructure of unethical electronics.
The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering.

Very tense, ending 1 taught me how to get out of most trouble in real life.
Great ambience, but the CLI could use a lot of love. A Hacking sim that is irksome in that it uses Linux-like commands without fully implementing them. In no particular order: - cd does not support absolute paths (ex: /downloads) - cd does not support nested paths (ex: emulated/1234) - ls only lists current directory, not whatever arg you supply (ex: ls downloads) - nano is used as a text editor but you can’t always edit text files (ex .json or .asc) - no tab to autocomplete Another weird bug, typing in the console will input characters into the irc chat, so you can be talking in there without realizing it.

I really liked this game and how it just throws you in, no hand holding no tutorial, just a good luck. I just wish there was more. I mean don't get me wrong 2 hours is great but I really wish Mike would expand this world. But regardless this is a great game.
Jogo curto, mas é muito bom.
i want more games like this
got to play a great horror game AND practice linux at the SAME TIME!
I cant believe i had fun in a game where you use Linux for an hour. Probably my favorite from the Klubnikaverse <3
This might be the most bleak game ever made... ♥♥♥♥... play it
