the psychological pressure and imersion in this game is amazing, after my second playthrough of the game after a while i actualy managed to pick up on the context clues and didnt have to search up a tutorial. Overall it is a very detailed and immersive game that really got to me as it used vague context clues to realy make me form a sort of idea of what the other ingame people are refferencing to

If anything, it's just a shame there isn't an ending 3 to discover. Also I was pissed off that many of the regular filetypes like xml weren't openable. My gut told me that there could be a [spoiler]novel way to use the root password recovered before returning to the final chat, but there's not[/spoiler]. C'est la vie :-) good game

This is definitely worth your time, but don't expect to do much hacking. I beat this in about 30 minutes. On one hand, this game really nails a lot. It's atmospheric and stylish. The sound design is excellent. It does a lot of great worldbuilding with not that much dialogue, which is hard to do on such a short game. I felt like I understood the world without being info dumped, and I wanted to stay in it longer. Even the brief voice acting was punching above its weight for an indie game. On the other hand, this game is 85% watching things, 15% actual hacking. It's clear the person who made it has some sysadmin knowledge because many things were familiar to me, but I don't particularly care about accuracy in a hacking game. I want some kind of puzzle solving. Instead, I felt like the bulk of my gameplay was spent being slowed down by little inconveniences. You can't read a directory without navigating to it, you can't "tab" to autocomplete file names or paths, and there was a particular command that just silently failed to load inputs if one of your arguments contained non-numeric characters. Instead of doing a puzzle game where I'm using my brain, I felt like I always knew exactly what to do but was just wrestling the terminal. I know these inconveniences are thematically appropriate when working with such old hardware, but my point is there should be a little more hacker gameplay and a little less busy work around the inconvenient terminal. Also, huge missed opportunity. When you first start hacking into the device, you open a bunch of files on it. There was so much cool stuff! Error logs, readmes, config lists. I thought that'd be a good place to put some clues as to what the company is like. But you can't read any of them. Every file in this game that is not directly related to beating it is "corrupted" and can't be read. That's unfortunate. It would've been a really organic way to learn something. As such, I think this game works better narratively than it does being a hacker sim. But it was a very interesting world to be in, and I think this dev continues to demonstrate proficiency over short horror experiences.

No podría recomendarlo pues ni siquiera pude jugar el juego. La pantalla de inicio funcionó bien con el menú pero apenas inicié el juego solo podía escuchar. No veía nada. Traté de contactarme con el equipo de desarrollo y no hubo alguna respuesta. No supe que más hacer y por lo mismo pedí mi respectivo reembolso. Espero que el problema se solucione en algún futuro y con gusto compraré el juego de nuevo. Pero mientras no esté solucionado y no haya respuesta por parte del equipo desarrollador poco más podré hacer...

É um jogo curto e simples, que faz você se sentir na pele no personagem. Só queria que fosse mais longo, mas vale a pena.
