Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 8.71/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"s.p.l.i.t" is a short narrative driven horror game, with a focus on raw terminal hacking using various commands.
Throughout the game, you chat with your fellow technicians in order to plan and execute a malware attack. Regardless of the outcome, your story won't be told for decades.
Will you hold up your end?
First person gameplay with diegetic & immersive UI.
An IRC chat where you gain intel, and learn more about the facility.
A terminal where you run software, navigate directories, and execute commands.
Detailed command prompt hacking puzzles with an emphasis on traditional inputs.

The facility you and your crew infiltrate is a superstructure of unethical electronics.
The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering.

PEAK
For me, what makes a great game, is when you finish that game and directly wants to make your own game. s.p.l.i.t. is one of them. This is a superb psychological-horror game, if you have experienced with coding and networks, you might finish it quite quickly. If you are a newcomer into that world, you might struggle a little bit at the beginning. Overall it should not take more than 2 hours to finish one ending, and it's worth the price. Congratulations to Mike Klubnika for making this game, it has its own unique atmosphere and I will remember this one all my life. Best €2 spent in 2026 so far!

its actually really good as soon as i got a hold of the terminal it became really fast my only problem is that it keeps crashing and idk why and on my build too 😭
This game is totally worth the price. I love Mike Klbunika's games.
Realmente te faz se sentir como um hacker e é bem legal ver que esse jogo se passa no mesmo universo de Tartarus Engine, só é uma pena ele ser curto (vai depender do quão rápido você consegue resolver os "Puzzles").
I'm gonna come out and say for the first 10 minutes of playing I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, a couple hours later I am in genuine shock for the first time in months after completing that first ending. 10/10, mike klubnika my absolute goat you did it again.
s.p.l.i.t is a computer-science game that delves into server hacking and How Computer Science Ruins Your Life. The concept of split is very interesting! I'm very bad at games like these, I tend to not be able to figure out these puzzles without some help. But, otherwise, I like how deep this game delves. It's very unfortunately short, with me completing in less than an hour, but it has a LOT of potential to have a bigger game surrounded by its concept! Would you rather choose a screwdriver, or a noose?
I wish there was more for Ending 2 to see what happens to Axel, since it just ends after the two guards in the truck finish talking. It might be elaborated on in future games about what this company does, what being put into the machine means, but who knows. Mike has always been vague. Maybe there was something from the other games he's made that I forgot about.
nice concept me and my bf enjoyed
Awesome but too short.
My whole system fried and my PC froze right at the guard said they were going to put them in the machine. Sat there for 5 minutes genuinely wondering if it was part of the game or not before I realized I couldn't get any response from my PC and had to plug pull reset it. 10/10 great story.
