Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 8.71/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 8.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"s.p.l.i.t" is a short narrative driven horror game, with a focus on raw terminal hacking using various commands.
Throughout the game, you chat with your fellow technicians in order to plan and execute a malware attack. Regardless of the outcome, your story won't be told for decades.
Will you hold up your end?
First person gameplay with diegetic & immersive UI.
An IRC chat where you gain intel, and learn more about the facility.
A terminal where you run software, navigate directories, and execute commands.
Detailed command prompt hacking puzzles with an emphasis on traditional inputs.

The facility you and your crew infiltrate is a superstructure of unethical electronics.
The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering.

what the hell. scary. highly recommend.
It's short but...holy molly what an experience.
The world building is suffocating as usual, the gameplay is easy if you're familiar with terminals, But if you're not, don't worry. It's very simple to learn compared to a real one.(Few commands, no abstract comp-sci concepts.) I love the whole experience to bits, so it is very sad that the game is so short, the machines humming and buzzing gave me a weirdly peaceful feel. If this game is longer I would even pay quadruple the price because it's just that well made, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
This was such a genuinely horrific game and I'm still reeling. I got both endings because I'm that kind of gamer, but I really enjoyed this game. I was really excited to see Klubnika's name after being a huge fan of Buckshot, and I'm very glad I decided to buy the game and try it for myself. I really really liked it. It built a fabulous sense of dread. I'm not used to this kind of interface at all, nor the linux UI, so this was a true puzzle for me. It was really cool having to sort of figure things out as I went and learning more about how that works, haha. Greatly recommended.
How sharp does a screwdriver have to be to s.p.l.i.t your brain to death?
