RWBY: Arrowfell

Simple platformer game, if you like RWBY then it's decent. Not much of a challenge. The first two bosses are super simple to cheese and the bosses that are hard can be trivialized with revive rings.

Desearía poder darle una nota positiva, pero no puedo por que el juego es objetivamente malo No es de lo peor, pero es una mediocridad mala Creo que es un juego que solo puedes disfrutar en algún nivel si eres fan de RWBY, pero si hablamos estrictamente sobre el juego, tiene muchas fallas, problemas que me hace pensar que el juego fue hecho sin ningun tipo de cariño, más como una lista. Empezando por el combate, tiene muchos problemas, cada personaje tiene 2 ataques, el ataque normal y el disparo, y no existe tal cosa como los combos o atacar arriba o abajo, solo atacas hacia donde miras y ya, lo mismo con el disparo, pero el disparo encima te quita vida, por que sí, esto más que la regeneracion de vida es lenta y limitada, hace que a veces lo más optimo sea esperar quieto antes de entrar en el siguiente mapa. Que el combate sea tan torpe es algo que me choca cuando RWBY sobretodo en sus inicios era más remarcable por sus coreografías en combate. Las misiones son todas igual, recadero, consigue estos fragmentos de robot, consigue 3 reliquias, etc. No hay ninguna mision que puedas considerar divertida, por que todas son lo mismo, investiga este mapa nuevo o revisita uno anterior y consigue X cosa. Las boss fight, son mejores de los que esperaría con un sistema de combate tan torpe, excepto la primera, la primera boss fight fue una muy mala presentacion de lo que iba a ser el juego. Creo que siguiendo la misma idea del juego y mecanicas, se podría haber creado una experiencia mucho más agradable, hacer algún puzle, un par de mejoras en el combate y sobre todo recortar las oleadas, no es extraño que tengas 3 niveles de oleadas seguidos. Si eres fan de RWBY, creo que puedes disfrutarlo, pero para lo corto que es y que no es un buen juego en si mismo, espera a que este rebajado de precio.

I got my value from this game but the price I paid for it included a lot that seemed to go for the licensing of RWBY. It's fine. If you like RWBY and can get this on a good sale, go for it but don't set your expectations too high.

Un juego sencillo hecho con mimo. No esperes un metroidvania del calibre de Hollow Knight. Si te gusta RWBY te va a encantar pero en si es un juego cortito que te llevará entre 5-7 horas

Much MUCH MUCH, better than Grimm Eclipse. The most polite way I can phrase it is, "We have Shantae at home." Its a way-forward game. Its a jumpin and slashin game ala Shantae with some shades of Castlevania. You pilot the titular girls and fight your way through a canon side story. It runs well, It animates very well especially around the bosses. The characters generally feel good to pilot. Unfortunately, the game just has no teeth to it. The monsters are slow and attacks are weighty. The difficulty curve is mostly a plateau of not very hard as soon as you realize that Ruby hard carries the game and it only takes 8 skill points to snap the difficulty like a kitkat. Face tanking is a genuine strategy. I only died a single time in my 5 hour and 30 minute 100% completion run, and it was on the final boss and I really only had to pay attention on the last two. I never bought healing items I never needed them. The game hands out health like its going out of style and the economy is in shambles as there is no real reason to spend money on anything other than hearts and skill points. Enemies either drop health, a different flavor of health, or money. The only things you can spend money on that aren't skill points are items that refill your health. So its Health, Health, and delayed health. Its an easy romp but I'd still recommend it to fans of the show especially if they buy it on a discount. I paid about 7 bucks for it and I've played far less game for far more money,

It's an alright game. If you just want to chill out and run around as team RWBY, I think the game satisfies that itch well enough. Some quick points: -Gameplay loop is simple but decently fun -story was. technically there i guess. -Level design was okay, music got grating -You get everything first run and there's no New Game+, no real replay value. I never expected any sort of crazy NG+ system but I figured it'd at least let you replay the story with your upgrades. One more thing: The fact that this game is canon is a selling point, but I'll go ahead and say that it's entirely negligible. The actual plot may as well have been a Star Wars-esque floating screen of text, because nothing ever actually happens. A character will say "A must be the cause of B!" and nothing more to it. There are some cute interactions between team RWBY and other characters, but these don't happen often enough to make up for an overall uninteresting read. Oh yeah, the game is partially voiced. There are some cutscenes animated in the show's style (albeit with much more stiffness) that have voices, the bulk of the game's text will at most have a grunt and a singular generic phrase voiced. It's not the worst, but I do think some parts would've landed better if it had been fully voiced. TL;DR alright game, just get it on sale lol

El juego es precioso pero es su única virtud. La historia es inexistente, solo misiones de recadero para los personajes con los que hablas. El plataformeo es ultra básico y el combate se basa en tres acciones, ataque básco, a distancia y habilidad que ni si quiera interactuan entre sí; dejando un juego repetitivo, sin desarrollo de ningún tipo ni nada de interés que te haga querer seguir después de la primera hora. Los fans de la serie merecemos más.

9/10 Great Rwby game with awesome music, art style, story and honestly everything. It indeed feels like Rwby, the only problem i saw was that the game is pretty short with only 6h.
