Rusty lake in general: + good visual clues + some morbid themes + good mystery + interconnected story, recurring characters + time travel - some of the puzzles (or their solutions) don't make a lot of sense, even in hindsight This game in particular: + I like the usage of the plagues as the concept + very fun puzzles + easter eggs for some cool past characters + interesting lore - cutscenes seemingly continue after pausing but reset afterwards - some things were a bit too gross - two of the chapters weren't enjoyable personally - no exit button?
I always love the Rusty Lake games. With so many achievements, there's a lot of replay value. I also love how each game leads into another, though you don't have to play them in a set order to enjoy the overall story.
One of my favorite entries in this series, it's so fun working through the puzzles and uncovering the haunting origins of the lake. Fun to play by yourself and with friends who shout solutions over each other, lol. This one has some of the most upsetting (complimentary) elements that make the story that much more interesting.
Did you like salad fingers as a kid, yeah same. You will love this.
nice game
