Rustled Pete is a very unforgiving boss fighting game. There is only one boss in the game and his name is Pete The Rustled. He has 4 forms, each one is harder than the other. Good luck!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty fun. You get increasing damage on Pete from catching the egg and by throwing it quickly after catching. The damage resets if you drop the egg. This gives you some incentive to play carefully, but take advantage of openings. Occasionally the hitboxes don't feel right and you will get crushed even when it looks like you are out of the way.
Fantastic boss rush game, super well made. You play as a chicken with an egg on your head and must defeat a giant menacing hand by throwing your egg into it while trying to not get smashed - in the world of souls-likes and whatever survivors this looks like a really fresh and funny concept. Game is simple but has some very interesting mechanics like catching your egg back after a throw increases your combo and boosts your damage. Combat is challenging but the challenge is reasonable and never (well, almoust never...) goes into frustration. The final form of the boss can be a bit RNG sometimes but it is the only thing that was a bit annoying in the end. It is a small game for a couple of hours but you probably should not expect more for such a price. 100% recommended, that was very cool!

Rustled Pete is honestly one of the most fun and rewarding boss fight games I have ever played. The gameplay is very smooth, attacks are perfectly telegraphed, you kind of get into a flow and when you finally defeat one of Pete's forms for the first time, it's feels great. Although the game is pretty damn difficult, I found that all of my deaths were completely fair and there definitely was something I could have done about it, it at no point felt unfair in any way. My only complaint is that I wish there were more content but considering that the game is literally three dollars and that there is quite a bit of gameplay if you are trying to beat all the bosses, I would say it is more than worth it. If you like 2d boss fight games, this one is absolutely for you. :)
Hard af recommanded
Skill issue
I suck but the game is bloody brilliant
WORTH THE PRICE!!!! it has good music to!
extremely satisfying when you land big combos
Mostly nice premise, except 100% of the difficulty (such as it were, it's not a hard game) comes from the controls being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not from anything the boss does. Horrible sloggy hold-to-jump and awful momentum based stuff, just unpleasant to play and counter to your instincts if you've ever played any kind of actual hard platformers. Give this one a miss
