Radiant One

From the developers that later made questionable games like Propnight and The Day Before comes a one dollar short single player simplified point & click adventure game, Radiant One. The game focuses on a character name Danial who goes through lucid dreams and learns to control them until he gets stalk by nightmarish creatures based on his childhood past. The gameplay is very mixed with a basic point & click adventure with some QTE encounters plus a clicker mini game which is sadly one of its shortcomings besides its short less than an hour game length. On the positive side, its story & theme was engaging enough to me to where I actually bothered to play through it at least 3 times to get all of the achievements. Despite the developer's awfully bad track record of their past & future games plus recently closing their development studio after making a scam game, Radiant One might be the most decent & competent game they've ever made to where I honestly think they should've stuck around making single player games instead of "attempting" to making an "MMO Survival" game.

[h2]ENGLISH[/h2] **************** Russian company FNTASTIC has released only 5 titles since its inception in 2015,with quality more or less average or unsatisfactory.They never cared about their projects and after low interest from players they abandoned them immediately.All of them.Today I took a look at their third game:Radiant One Story: ******* Daniel comes home from work very tired so he tries to relax using the advice of a book on lucid dream control,which is actually,you do whatever you want in your dreams.But what a surprise when his childhood nightmare gets into his dream and suddenly his life is on the line. Gameplay: ********* This is a classic indie game where you click on a couple of objects on the screen with your mouse and Daniel comments on them or picks up an object.Occasionally there is some action when you have to react quickly. Achievements: ************* You will get them all in less than one hour, provided you can quickly click 5000 points in Daniel's work and discover some cleverly hidden dialogues :D Overall rating: ******************** It wasn't bad....short but audiovisually very decently executed,the price is great,achie you get the complete.....I think this game managed the best out of those 5. [h2]SK VERZIA[/h2] ******************* Ruská firma FNTASTIC od svojho vzniku v roku 2015 vydala len 5 titulov,s kvalitou viac menej priemernou alebo nevyhovujúcou.O svoje projekty sa nikdy nestarali a po slabom záujme hráčov ich hneď opustili.Všetky.Dnes som sa pozrel na ich tretiu hru:Radiant One Príbeh: ******* Daniel chodí z práce veľmi unavený a tak sa snaží oddýchnuť pomocou rád knihy na ovládanie lucidných snov,čo je vlastne,že si v sne robíte čo chcete.Aké je však prekvapenie keď sa mu do sna dostane jeho nočná mora z detstva a zrazu mu ide o život. Gameplay: ********* Jedná sa o klasickú indie hru kde myšou klikáte na pár objektov na obrazovke a Daniel to okomentuje poprípade zoberie nejaký ten predmet.Občas príde nejaká akčná vložka keď musíte rýchlo reagovať. Achievementy: ************* Získate ich komplet za menej ako jednu hodinu za predpokladu,že v Danielovej práci dokážete rýchlo naklikať 5000 bodov a objavíte niekoľko šikovne ukrytých dialogov :D Celkové zhodnotenie: ******************** Nebolo to zlé....síce krátke ale audiovizuálne veľmi slušne prevedené,cena je super,achie získate komplet.....myslím,že táto hra sa im z tých 5 podarila najlepšie.

A good game from FNTASTIC? Short, but good. Despite the jokes about 'The Day Before 2023', and its the worst game this month if not year, i'll give props to this game because I did enjoy it. But i'm giving pity marks. I enjoyed the story as short as it was, I was engrossed in the vibe/tone of it. The eeriness got me a few times, wasn't scared, but the creepiness is what sold it to me. Daniel's relationship with his brother is good, as well as the underlying messages throughout. I like this game by FNTASTIC but like I said, pity marks.

Radiant One est un jeu point & click et narratif où l'on incarne un homme qui perd le contrôle de sa vie et qui décide de fuir la réalité en se réfugiant dans ses rêves, mais ses cauchemars le rattrape. Accompagnée d'une jolie bande-son, la qualité graphique est incroyablement belle, que ce soit les ombres, les lumières ou la fluidité du jeu. Pour 0.99€, je ne peux que le recommander!!!

A short but really beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful game. In this 40 minutes I experienced more feelings than in some big AAA games.
