Like all RuneScape games, community is at the heart of everything we do.
We've shaped our entire roadmap based on player feedback, leading us to launch dedicated servers earlier than planned, introduce new combat and new quest content. Working together we're continuing to develop RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Whether you're adventuring with friends or going it alone, every opinion matters, and it's up to you to help us shape the future of our game.

I love this game. I have a lot of nerve damage in my hands and this is not so click intensive as most games. It's fun to grind out the skills. Everything you do in this game is with a purpose. So grinding doesn't really feel like grinding.

The world doesnt feel alive, its quite silent, dead... great for imaginative RP players with friends I suppose, however its not exactly a great solo experience as it stands. if only there were NPCs that could speak, move or not look like a statue. This game is in dire need of background npcs to make the world feel alive. What i wouldn't give for Npcs that I could place in my base who had a purpose, Npcs i could send out to gather materials for gold, NPC to assist in combat for solo players, something like Enshrouded but usefull. There's a lot more to say, but its still EA so there is some hope.
it's fine. it does nothing new that other games don't already do better. barebones mechanics and mostly seems to ride off the RS brand identity, rather than having any real soul. biggest gripe is 1.0 and still no apparent way to consistently spawn proof an area, meaning no real reason to build outside of the starting zone or caves unless you want everything you do in your base interrupted by combat.
Solid enough entry for a survival crafting game but it honestly just feels like Enshrouded but worse. With Enshrouded 1.0 a month away, I don't see a reason to put any real amount of time into this game. It's still fairly janky as well. I see where all of the fun of this game could be and I think it could be a hit if you are a big RuneScape fan, but I'm going to stick with my recommendation of passing on this and just getting Enshrouded. It does everything this game does but better.
game has a soul crushing grind, need your OSRS autism to play. plus combat is just Valheim lol
Combat is good Giving it a bad review because it still uses the same bad box management that ruins every survival game. I do not want to have to go to every box every time I return and organise everything for 10 mins. Give me a mother box that I can throw everything into and it auto-stacks to all the others
Gonna be honest. never played Runescape the MMO always been a World of Warcraft addict for 15 years. Just got done beating palworld doing everything and anything possible even hard mode. It has turned me onto this type of base building survival now. I know it offically launches in september. So far im loving every minute of it as well. its got my fix i needed for now. Already huge roadmap cant wait to see what else they have in store. Best part is. Anything you do in open beta right now carries over to official launch in september! This is also my style of game though. Wizards knights magic orcs. pure fantasy action.
Was actually enjoying the game until someone joined my game and stole all of my stuff before I realized that build protection didn't actually lock your chests or doors from being accessed by other players. All of my vault cores and shards gone, all of my items and resources gone, and nothing I could do to stop the player after it entered their inventory. I even kicked them out, but my stuff was gone by that point. Why is this even possible? If I knew my stuff could be accessed, I would have completely ignored this lame excuse for public servers.
