Its a game of a FREAKEN VACUUM CLEANER.. and its still better story than MOST AAA games!!!! HOW?! I love this the story, teh charecters and the silly puzzels, its a yes from me!!
I love Rumu! I loved my first playthrough. After playing the whole game trice and not getting the final three achievements to pop, was disappointing. Unfortunatelly there are still three achievements, which are buggy and yet to be fixed. In the current version, you will need to cheat (use console commands) to force the game to unlock them. Also in the final sequence, I discovered a couple bugs (like falling out of the level and being respawned in mid air - a death loop without escape, except restarting the game and playing the whole sequence anew). The other one is also nasty, since here too, you will need to restart your game. Sometimes Rumu's final dialog does not trigger and the sequence cannot be finished. But regardless of the bugs, the game, the story, the characters, everything is polished, interesting and emotion provoking. I never would have thought to be able to feel sympathy for a fictional, intelligent vacuum cleaner. I love you, developers, for reminding me, what it means to be a human! BbyWX

Just the most enchanting game I've played in a while. Heartfelt, phenomenal music and colors, can't recommend enough.
The game is still broken. You get hard locked out very early on.
Маленькая игра про любовь. Какой она бывает необъятной... и жестокой. Но любовь это не паранойя. Любовь это
Сабрина
.
Could be hot but is only lukewarm. Relies heavily on story but fails by contradicting itself, breaking immersion, and having a secret obvious from Day 1 so the reveal at the end has little impact. Con: - Choices don't matter. Everything feels like it is on rails: 1. You often get replies that fit both your dialog choices 2. Choices have no impact on the plot, eg.: Choosing to side with Sabrina still causes you to go against her 3. All doors are always locked except the one the story told you to go to. Unlocked doors lock again after each story step. Most doors never unlock again. - The narrative (N) contradicts gameplay (G): 0. N: "You are a vacuum cleaner robot who loves cleaning." G: *You are a detective and a hacker, cleaning is forgotten quickly* 1. N: "You have no arms and cannot jump." G: *Collect shirts and hang them back into the closet; collect logs bigger than you and place them in the fireplace* 2. N: "I love Sabrina. I love Sabrina. I love Sabrina." G: *Hurt Sabrina and make her suffer* 3. N: "If you love me, you don't go into that room." G: *No other way but to go into that room* 4. N: "I grant you access to anything you want." G: *Gain no access* 5. N: "You need to insert password to open door." G: *Cannot insert password and open door after the first time* 6. N: "You get access to my datafeed for a special vision ability." G: *Have that ability in places without datafeed (e.g. in vents, the hideout, etc.)* 7. N: "Repeats info about character's favorite tea." G: *Password is character's favorite tea. Game bugs out because you had input password before you found the clue to teach it to you (again). Progression stuck and must restart game to resolve* - Bug hindering progression (see point above) - You have a flashlight but you never need it nor is it used for anything - On default settings, accessing the circuit for hazards makes you move into the hazard - Movement control is a bit unprecise (but seems fitting for a vacuum cleaner robot bumping into everything) - Door to "???" is locked. I can't wait to unlock it and see what's behind. Never unlocks. Pro: - A cat rides on you at one point :3 - Pleasant voice acting - Sabrina not being the stereotypical evil runaway AI (but still seems to be inspired by GlaDOS) - Strong emotional connection to Sabrina - Many interactables per room - Lore pieces are kept short - Enjoyable dialog - Interesting concept - Nice visuals
Very cute game! The story is captivating - the more you sleuth out, the more you want to know!
I really enjoyed this game in 2021 but sadly it has acquired some kind of freeze bug since then that kicks in between day 2 and 3 and subsequently stops the game from even loading at all. Wiping save data allows me to play again but only up to the same point, where it freezes again and fails to load. Not sure if everyone gets this bug but quite a few people have reported it in the forums here and elsewhere. Most unfortunate as this was a wonderful game but is unplayable now.
cute narrative driven, light puzzle game. AMAZING voice acting. Brillant! I love Rumu
This is REALLY hard to recommend, honestly. The good outweighs the bad if you get it on sale. I haven't gone that far, but it has some serious problems. Controller inputs aren't well designed, and don't even work for the main menu. Even though it says "save and quit", it actually makes you redo the whole chapter if you do that and relaunch the game. One of the few puzzles completely broke at the skateboard, becoming impossible to finish, as restarting the room doesn't actually restart the room, let alone undo the bug. So you have to restart the WHOLE CHAPTER. You can't skip any of the cutscenes or dialogue. The narrative itself is also severely lacking subtly, though that might hopefully change as I play more. The only thing keeping me going is the cute moments, lovely art direction and music, and unique gameplay design.
